Venting!!!
26 weeks out from Battle of Biloxi (MS). Still at 20% BF. It has actually probably gone up because I’ve been sick the past 3 days and have not been eating the right thing (Poptarts have been my weakness, 210 calories per pastry…I eaten about the whole box). I know I don’t need to buckle down until around 20 weeks, but I feel like I’m behind schedule a bit because I haven’t trained since Tues or Wed last week (it’s now Monday).
Anyway, I feel the need to vent because I’ve been sick! Yes, I’m being a baby, brat, whatever. Everyone gets sick. I can take as much vitamin C as possible daily and still get the common cold, but it sucks!!! Don’t these germs know I’ve got a contest I have to prep for!!??

The germs don’t care. I just went through the same thing, hey but I will tell u this once I got over the cold I hit the gym like a mad man, even though I was sick I got good rest so you should feel great once it is all over.

Hey it’s always good to take a break anyway and give your body time to rest! You don’t want to overwork your body and hit a total plateau before it gets closer to comp anyway! I think I’m fighting some kind of winter cold right now….I wish I could just get sick and get it over with to get back to 110%! Hope you are better by now!
