My food-Any suggestions?

1/2 whole wheat muffin wtih 1 tsp. natual PB

Coffee w/non-dairy creamer & Stevia

Snack:

Pear

Lunch:

Beef Soup with rice/veggies

Snack:
Apple

Dinner:

Baked Chicken with Spices

Sauteed Spinach

Well, cheat day (Friday’s) have started to creep into the weekend. I do not want this to happen, so I need to get my disciple back on Sat & Sun. Hubby-who does not have weight issues, eats junk all weekend, but I have to just stay firm and keep good things on hand instead of tempting foods.  Reading this website, "cheat days" have many different meanings.  Some people (the fitness buffs) only eat good carbs on their cheat days, others binge (don’t really like this alternative), and others are in-between. I’m an in-betweener, but then I rationalize a koloche on Sat. morning becuase I only had a glass of wine on Fri. etc.

My point is not to make excuses, but just to be honest & aware of my issue-which is really emotional eating.  I’ve declared this year the year of self-care, so I’m feeling good thus far, just need to chanel it in other directions and away from food.

Well-here it is-officially 20 lbs down & looking forward to the last 10. I never imagined it would take me this long (7-months post-pardum) to loose the baby weight, but as long as I’m fit & healthy, that’s all that really matters. There are too many women who breastfeed, get thin, but look "soft" and are physically weak becuase they don’t work out.  I just didn’t/don’t want to be one of those women.

Anyway, other than that just dealing with some frustrations at work, but I’ll hang in there in the meantime. I’m going to do some self-care & get a nice facial tonight. Yhea!
