Well, cheat day (Friday’s) have started to creep into the weekend. I do not want this to happen, so I need to get my disciple back on Sat & Sun. Hubby-who does not have weight issues, eats junk all weekend, but I have to just stay firm and keep good things on hand instead of tempting foods. Reading this website, "cheat days" have many different meanings. Some people (the fitness buffs) only eat good carbs on their cheat days, others binge (don’t really like this alternative), and others are in-between. I’m an in-betweener, but then I rationalize a koloche on Sat. morning becuase I only had a glass of wine on Fri. etc.
My point is not to make excuses, but just to be honest & aware of my issue-which is really emotional eating. I’ve declared this year the year of self-care, so I’m feeling good thus far, just need to chanel it in other directions and away from food.
