There is Hope!
Wednesday, August 20th, 2008I admit-I’m inpatient, but after one month of cutting calories and faithfully doing training/cardio, I ended up gaining 2 pounds! Yes, I was only 7 weeks post-pardum, but still! So, I spoke with my trainer and she suggested a low-carb diet. I immediatly protested (what-no wheat bread, bannanas, pineapple)-it’s the end of the world! I told her I didn’t understand because prior to pregnancy, this diet I was following worked wonderfully (lost 35 pounds and kept it off for 3 years). Her response was that even though it may have worked in the past, pregnancy most likley changed my metabolism. Fast forward 3 weeks and I’ve lost 3 pounds and 2 inches on my waist. I must say, it’s been hard, but I feel better and am not craving sweets so much. I hope to be holding my what will then be my 1 year old next summer in my brand new bikini!
