Chest Workout

Today I worked my chest and now I feel drained.  I started off on the flat bench and concentrated on keeping my shoulder blades in while performing the exercise.  I felt a better stretch in chest area when I did this.  I couldn’t go as heavy as I wanted to, but I felt I had great form and kept my butt on the bench at all times.

Next was the incline, followed by the decline bench, which were done on the smith machine.  I did the same, with my shoulder blades, on these exercises as I did on the flat bench.  Again I couldn’t go as heavy, but I felt I got more out of it.  My chest was really pumped afterwards!

The fourth exercise was crossover cables.  I did multiple sets, while changing the angle of the machine to various heights.  I think I hit my chest really good doing this and kept it guessing for what was coming next.

I concluded my chest day with some pullovers and dumbbell flies.  These were like icing on the cake, because that little extra pump and blood in my chest was awesome.

Before I left the gym, I worked my abs (all 3 areas).  I love the feeling of leaving the gym feeling drained and knowing I gave alot of myself to get the body I want.
