My kids each have 6 yrs between them so I have all ages and have been through sports for years now. My only son is now 4 and is playing flag football for the first time. Let me tell you, its a whole new thing!!! My 17 yr old daughter has played softaball since 4 and when she hit about 7 is when it got cutthroat and competitive….oh no not with football, we had practice the other night and after every play, there was one father who tell his son all this technical stuff and how not to run to the corner and i looked at another mother like WTF!!! They are 4….My son loves to go to practice because the coach lets them pee on a pole outside!!! My kids have always excelled at sports and pretty much all they did, but i have never been one of these crazy moms. The worst was my oldest daughter won every beauty pageant she ever entered and one time we did a national pageant as the winner of georgia and had to go to disney world for a week. it was the last time we ever did it…..she was 9 and you should have heard these mother’s trashing the little girl who won photogenic….she was 9!!!! ok rant over :0)

That question bugs me about all sitcom moms…As I approach 40, I look good for my age, I need to get in better shape, but I always get mistaken for at least 10 yrs younger. I dont dress "old" and my 17 yr old daughter’s friends think I am hot…of course, Eddie Haskell was always smoozing June (I bet Herm was an Eddie). I can do the soulja boy with the best of em and know all the songs my daughters listen to. So why are we more like Stacey’s than the Beav’s mom? Extra points if you can tell me how old Aunt Bee was :0)

Tomorrow will mark the 6 month mark until the big 4-0!!! I have made all my goals big and small. Big is 38 lbs by March 3rd and that equals out to little goals of 1.4 lbs a week. Easy right? Between Warren’s death and all that went with it, I have not been to the gym and eating has been off and on. I am hoping that life will get back to normal or as normal as it will be without Warren in it….Football has started and my 4 yd old is playing flag and my daughter is helping coach the cheerleading squad for his team so I have alot of home workouts in my future for the time being. My pilates class at lunch at work is having a Biggest Loser contest so I can use that for motivation too!!! Wish me luck :0)

I have went back and forth about writing this blog and if you are one of those people who get pissy when a blog doesnt have to do with training…stop reading!! Ok since I wrote my deal breaker blog this has been bugging me, love you booshnoogs, but it has….a woman putting out on a first date…deal breaker, I can live with that, but unless she is a raging nympho, you had to put some moves on her…ok guys is that a test?? do you see if she will take the "bait" and if she does its bye bye? i am no women’s libber by any means, but this is the one double standard that has always pissed me off…in high school the guy was a hero and the girl was a ho!!! explain it to me guys??? i really want to know your thinking on this one…

Thanks to everyone who helped me yesterday. It meant alot that you went out of your way to give me some words of wisdom and sympathy….that being said, I am off in another direction now…..I have decided if I meet my 40 goals, I am going to get certified. I want to start with getting certified and then maybe get a degree in sports management. I dont think this is something I would full time, but maybe to work with a couple of people a week as part time extra money. I love being in the gym and I love talking about fitness so I think it would be good to put it to use for other people. My main question is at 40 am I too old to start this? I know my gym has a guy who is in his 60s and his a trainer so why cant I?

I am having a really hard time with Warren’s death and it is making me take a second look at things. For those who read my blogs and my goal…I have goals I want to reach by 40 in MArch….Is it really worth it? I mean an 18 yr old can be gone like that…is it worth it to work my ass off for a goal at the end of the day that really doesnt mean that much? I am so broken hearted for Warren’s family and my own daughter that I feel like I am just shutting down…

Everyone who read my blog and sent out well wishes and prayers to Warren, his family and my family..thank you…Warren passed away today. My daughter was told at school by text from his sister and of course was devastated and had to leave school. It is still hard to believe a great kid is no longer with us and will never walk through my door. Please keep his family in your thoughts and these next few weeks are going to hard to get past…

Kids were asleep last night and I was bored and started looking throug my comments and realized I have a great bunch of friends on here who help me, encourage me and kick me in the ass when I need it….We all seem to stick to our groups so to speak. I started wondering about the people who dont have that group. My goal is to go to at least 5 active profiles a day that I have never been to and leave a positive uplifting comment. It will make me feel good and I hope will bring a smile to someone’s face!!! I also look at people who come to my profile and dont leave a comment, if you are there you can at least say hi:) I challenge everyone to go to a new profile and leave some sweet words…i challenge you to make someone smile!!
