I have to say my weekend went really good. Great on the diet and great on the workouts. I got my Champions of Body for Life book in the mail and it really has some good stuff in it!! I am in my second week of the competition and energy and motivation level is up :0)
ok I know I am going to get much flack for this……Let’s talk about Michael…I love his music and think he is an amazing and gifted musician, that being said…..I still think he is a child molester or at the very least has some weird ideas about children. Everything I have read and watched has overlooked this. Its like they are making him a saint. OH well, he is the one who will have to stand and answer for what he has done!!!

it is hard to be a single mother!!! Dont get me wrong, my kids father is very hands on, but still……24 hours in a day is not enough to get it all done!!! Between running a car pool, sitting at ball practices, feeding, cleaning, going to the gym and oh yeah, sleeping there is my day. I know when I have reached a goal, I have REALLY reached a goal…..My hats are off to all the women and men who do it by themselves. Everyone have a good day :0)

Today was the end of my first week of the Body for Life Challenge….I lost 1.2 lbs!!! I wanted more, but I am ok with it. I just strive for more next week.
ON a different note, lately I have been noticing people more and more. I am a really shy person, believe it or not, and dont like to have any attention sent my way. I wont even walk into a room by myself and if I have to talk in front of people, even a roomfull of people I know, my stomach starts hurting. That being said, I do always make eye contact when passing people and smile. Here’s my thing…….why dont people smile back???? I mean I am in the south where people are supposed to be friendly!!! It takes a second to smile and you never know it might make someone’s day. If someone smiles at you……smile back :0) My rant for the day….

Nothing feels better than a day done right!! I got the diet clean yesterday and got the workout in. You feel like you have climbed the highest mountain when it all comes together. Tonight is cardio and got the diet planned out. I am so excited that I seemed to be getting it right. I have 9 months until the big 40 and I am confident that I am going to meet all my goals :0)

Just walked into the kitchen at work and there are Krispy Kreme doughnuts!!! Man, what a way to start off monday morning with major temptation. I had my oatmeal with fruit and protein powder for breakfast so I am good!!! Just need to keep telling myself that. Last night I had a little bit of Lean Dessert Chocolate left so I decided to put it in my cottage cheese…..it was yummy!!! I think I will have that as my night snack from now on…Everyone have a good day and stay away from your temptations :0)

I have been reading blogs lately about the changes on bb, such as changing the home screen. here is my philosphy….if you have more than one person in a room…..everyone is not going to be happy. do i like everything on this site? no, but i take the things i love and leave the rest. if it ever gets to the point that i dont like anything….i will find myself another site to go on to get my fitness advice from. this site, just like life….you have to take the good with the bad…..to the cry babies out there……suck it up already…..

I can read every fitness magazine…and i do. i can write down what i should be eating….and i do. i can visualize how hot i am going to be at 40…and i do. the bottom line though is without the hard work, none of that matters. it takes hard work, motivation, dedication and sometimes tears. there is no quick fix and it is sooo much sweeter when you have worked to achieve it all!!!!

still going strong. diet and workout were good. my company pays an instructor to come to work mon-thurs to teach a 30 min pilates class at lunch and yesterday was my first day back in awhile because of other things i have had to do at lunch. that 30 min class kicked my butt!!! we used the resistance bands and my legs were screaming. we use bands on tues and thurs and straight pilates on mon and wed so i am going to add these classes to my regular workouts. i am going to be the hottest 40 yr old on the block :0)

Today is my official first day of the Body for Life Challenge….I am really motivated to get this done. I am really excited. I had to quit the Hydroxy challenge because I had so much going on. I am taking the next 12 weeks for me. I am not going to let anything stand in my way. If I have to eat different then the kids so be it, although my kids will eat healty as long as they get a snack every once in a while. I am dedicating myself to the gym and will make sure that I get there at least 4 times a week. My kids love going so they arent a road block :0) I can do this and now that I have it in writing…..there is no going back!!! Last night was legs and abs and I had about 20 mins before my tan time so I jumped on the treadmill at 15 incline and pushed. I walked out of the gym with a little extra bounce in my step because I was so proud of myself…The journey begins :0)

I want to find someone at my gym to work out with. I know there are pros and cons for both a male partner and a female partner, but I think a guy will push me more. Is that sexist of me? I really need to hear what has worked for everyone else. I just want the best person to push me to meet all my goals :0)
