Cant win

So last weekend I was the human garbage disposal.  I realized that it was a setback and that I just needed to let it go and move forward.  Everything was going really great workouts were back on track and diet was going good.  Then it happened…….I got the friggin flu!!!  I can barely walk up the stairs at work much less work out.  It seems like in life every time you take 2 steps forward you take 1 step back.

How did that happen?

Just when you think you have it all figured out, something happens to have you scratching your head and saying WTF?  The last few weeks everything has been falling into place.  I have felt confident about the Hydroxycut Max Contest.  My diet is looking good and work outs are rockin.  Then BAM, something happens to make you say what just happened.  This weekend I ate anything that I could get my hands on. If I could eat with my feet I would probably have done that too.  Ben and Jerry and I watched the Miss America Pageant on Saturday, which Miss Georgia was 1st runner up, and it was downhill from there.  Next week I am getting back in the groove and back on the straight and narrow.   AAHHH I hate setbacks!!!

Everything is totally falling into place with this Hydroxycut Max Challenge.  Diet workouts…its all there.  I have never been one to use an ipod or mp3 player when i work out.  I was getting on the treadmill tonight and my 10 yr old wouldnt leave the room so I grabbed her mp3 player and got on the treamill.  OMG before i knew it, 2 miles was gone….it made such a difference and I think I even stepped it up a little.  Just goes to show, you never know what’s going to work until you try it!!!

Last night was Zumba class.  I am telling you if you havent tried it, you need to.  It is so much fun and it is a serious workout!!!  I got my new workout and diet from team scivation and i am sooooo excited.  i can not wait to get started!!!  i am ready to kick it in high gear and win the hyydroxycut max contest.  i know i have it in me and i am the only one who can bring it out of me!!!  everyone have a wonderful weekend….

40 Tips for a Better Life - 2009

1. Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. And while you walk, smile. It is the ultimate anti-depressant.

 

2. Sit in silence for at least 10 minutes each day.

 

3. Buy a DVR and tape your late night shows and get more sleep.

 

4. When you wake up in the morning complete the following statement, ‘My purpose today is to _____ .’

 

5. Live with the 3 E’s — Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

 

6. Play more games and read more books than you did in 2008.

 

7. Make time to practice meditation and prayer. They provide us with daily fuel for our busy lives.

Big Eyes

I didnt get to workout at all yesterday.  I had an eye exam and he dilated my eyes.  OMG.  I have really large pupils so I never have to have this done.  I HATED it.  I went back to work and looking at the screen killed me.  I went home with a killer headache and couldnt do anything.  Today is arms so I am going to go at it full speed and do extra cardio to make up for yesterday.  Why does life always have to get in the way of my plans???!!!

Back on Track

Last week was a strange week.  I did really good on workouts and diet….until I got to the weekend.  I didnt eat bad, I just didnt eat enough.  I think I need to make a menu and just stick to it no matter what.  The weekends throw me off because I dont have a set schedule.  I should be getting my Hydroxycut today for the contest so that will be my incentive to do it all right.  Remember if you need a pick me up….read rock 23’s blog.

 

On  a lighter note….I had my first online date this weekend and I really had a good time.  I was a little nervous at first because I am really scaredy cat and spending 4 hours with someone I didnt know was a little intimidating.  I have to say the first was a success and alot of fun….happy week to everyone :0)

For my faithfuls that read my blog…you all know i got on a kick a few days ago that i didnt feel like the people who had questions or needed any help were getting any feedback.  feedback and comments always seem to go to the people who didnt seem to need it as much.  well stryka laid down the challenge to leave 5 comments to people you had never left before or never read.  i have to say, i personally did this and i have to tell you…..it felt good. of course all mine were motivating, cant give a lot of tips….still need them myself.  i get a comment from stryka today that as he was doing this he came across rock23’s blog and said i needed to read it.  WE ALL NEED TO READ IT!!!  it is the best blog i have ever read.  if you need help…..read it.  if you need motivation…..read it.  helll if you a kick in the ass…….read it.   i think i will add it to all my comments for my bloggers that need help.  HE ROCKS!!!!  have a great day :0)

Ok for those of you who read my blog yesterday…..Stryka has challenged everyone to leave a comment on 5 blogs of people that you dont know and have never left a comment for.  I think that is an awesome idea.  It makes your day to know someone is listening and is out there wanting to help with a tip or just a comment that you can do it…..I know personally it makes me feel good when someone tells me that my kind words have meant something to them.  So make someone else feel good and in lthe process you should get it back.

I have done it all right today.  I have eaten clean all day, did a gallon of water and took a pilates class at lunch and zumba class after work.  I still have to work arms tonight, but I will get it done.  Why cant I do this everyday.

Now for the soapbox…..I am a regular blogger and I usually get responses from the people that I consider friends and usually a few others thrown in the mix.  This is fine with me because usually I am either venting(like now) or patting my self on the back(see above).  What really bothers me is when I read blogs from people who have a ways to go with their bodies or dont have a pic so you dont know what they look like.  These people are looking for advice and encouragement and they may get one or two responses.  I am good on the encouragement, but cant really give any tips, learning myself.  The next blog will be some gorgeous perfect figure whose blog is about whatever and they will have 25 responses.  I dont begrudge anyone help and encouragement, but those people who need help are really laying it all out there and most times get nothing back….make me sad :0(
