Wow, what a year it has been. In the big picture, we made history with the first black president(i still stick to he is just as much white as black, isnt that what biracial is?), news was taken over by the death of an adorable 2 yr old, presumably by her mother(so sad). My own personal year has seen ups and downs(last year I had an awful fire on new year’s eve) and I met some of my fitness goals. Now on 2009, I have set my sights pretty high. I am bound and determined that with hard work and dedication that I can win the Hydroxycut Max challenge. The only other goal is about money and finances and I dont want to even to begin to go into that!!! My hope for all my bb.com friends is that you set your sights high and meet all your goals for 2009!! If you plan to go out and party tonight, I am staying home tonight because my boyfriend wants to go out with his friends(thats a blog all to its self), be safe and if you have too much to drink….DONT DRINK AND DRIVE!!!

I watched the informercial yesterday and now I want some feedback from people….It looks like an awesome workout, but so does every other workout you see on tv. I would love to hear what the people on this site that I trust are saying……
On another note, I am so glad the holidays are over and it is time to get back on schedule and get serious with the diet and exercise!!!

I start shopping in July for presents and my kids had them opened in less than 30 mins. You have to love kids too, my 4 yr old opened a shirt (teal oxford pin striped) and proceeded to say "oh i dont like this". My 17 yr old opened hers and went back to bed. I now have presents thrown all over the house and kids high on the candy that they got in their stockings. They now go to dad’s and do it all over. Peace and Quiet….YAY!!! Its now time to get serious about the diet and exercise. I am ready to be back to normal and on a regular schedule. No work tomorrow, but back to clean eating and regular workouts. I wish everyone a Merry Christmas and hope that you get everything that you want (I got a awesome Coach purse and matching wallet). I hope everyone meets all their goals in 2009. Mine is to win the Hydroxycut Max Contest!!

I love the holidays, but it has played havoc with my diet and workout. How do you fit it all in? I still have presents in my trunk that I havent wrapped and tonight, I have to get them done which means I will have to either not work out or only do a short one. 2 more days and life will be back to normal and I am going to get back to some serious diet and exercise. I entered the Hydroxycut Max contest and that is going to give me something to work my ass off for (literally I hope!!).
I hope that everyone has a wonderful holiday!!! Please take a minute to say a prayer for all those who less fortunate than us and take a look at all you have and be thankful. Think about our troops who wont be home for Christmas so that you can!!

I am losing my christmas cheer!!! I love the holidays and nothing makes me happier than to find the perfect present for someone….but I am tired of wrapping presents. I am tired of all the food that is all around me at work and I am tired of my normal schedule be interrupted. I am ready for everything to be back to normal!! To top it off I feel bad to feel like that. I look back on my year and it has had ups and downs, but I survived them all. My younger brother came back from Iraq in Aug, just to be killed in a motorcycle accident in Nov. I had a house fire on New Year’s Eve and was out of my house until May. With God’s help, I have made it through it all and realize that there are so many people who have it alot worse. I am ready for a fresh new year and amazing things to come. Now let me get back to that wrapping

i finally got to take my zumba class and it kicked my a$$!! the class was 30 mins and i was literally wringing wet when it was over. it was soo much fun. i highly suggest it to anyone to use for their cardio. i dont think i have moved my hips like that in forever….my company pays for a pilates instructor to come in 4 times a week and teach pilates 2 classes at lunch and 1 night class and we are hoping that they will let her teach the zumba at the night class instead. it was a major workout and the time flew by. if you have a chance go on you tube and check it out.

This day is not starting out well at all!!! My 17 yr old left my makeup at her work last night so I am sitting at work with no makeup on!!! Not a pretty sight I promise. I am on my way to work and realize that I have forgotten my healthy breakfast and lunch so I have to turn around and go back home….AAAHHHHH. This day has got to get better. I do have pilates scheduled for lunch which should destress me a little and after work I am going to take the ZUMBA class that I have been looking forward to. I hate when one little things sets the ball rolling for a trip to the day from hell!!!

so far so good on the challenge. i have been doing good on the exercise and the diet. i know its only wednesday, but hey you gotta take baby steps! i made my first protein pancake last night and it was really yummy. i used 3 eggs whites, protein powder and a little bit of oats(i used a little too much) i didnt even put splenda in the batter and it was still sweet enough. texture took a little getting used to, but i will definitely make them part of breakfast.

The Hydroxycut Max contest starts today and I am so excited and ready. I ate all the crap I wanted this weekend to get it all out of my system and now I am ready. I got a good start this morning with egg whites, turkey bacon and banana. The protein pancakes I made were a disaster. They smelled amazing and the kids kept asking where the cookies were, but it just looked like slop and would never go into pancake mode. I am hoping my buddy scouter99 is going to find her recipe for me.
I want to wish everyone in the contest good luck and to tell them to bring it because i am so pumped and in serious competitive mode…..
