I want to start things off by saying that I never in my life thought I would ever meet Jose Canseco..I was a fan when he was with the A’s, and followed him with the other 6 teams too. I really wanted him to get to that 500 HR mark. I bought his book when it came out and just plowed straight through it..I don’t care that he juiced, he has always been bigger than life anyway..I don’t care that he is a whistleblower, he is entertaining to me. So when I saw him at the GAT booth, it was indeed a HOLY SHxT moment in my life.
Five quick things
- Joel Stubbs may be the largest man I have ever seen
- Evan Centopani is as wide as a house
- Alex Castro a.k.a Militia from American Gladiators may very well be the nicest guy ever.
- Dennis James may be a great guy, but I have never seen him look happy or enthused
- Something needs to be done about Muscletech
I will elaborate on that a little more now..absolute madness..that is the only way I can describe the area surrounding their whole block. There is just too much interest in their brands to have them that close together..MAP is a new exciting label for them, but really got paid NO mind being right across from the MT monster..the overflow line from the MT line pretty much pushed it’s way into the MAP booth, and you have them screeching to take off your shirts!! Plus you have a whole row of vendors behind the MT area that probably got avoided because the wraparound line from MT took up half of the walking area…it was just chaos..at least BSN and MT were away from each other this year.
Top Five Booths IMO
- ISS..always had plenty of “Oh Yeah” samples ready when you walked past…I mean Non-Stop!
- MAP..Good Samples, friendly people..Freak Fix tasted awesome!
- MHP..really nice sample packet of Dren, Trac, Probolic..Victor Martinez was a cool guy too.
- MD table..Evan Centopani, Jackie Haas, and Monica Brandt, and a free MD?? no doubt
- Bodybuilding.com..finally, a bodyspace shirt!!!
It was also a pleasure to meet Fern, (MsFitness to those that don’t know) she was as nice as could be. I was also fortunate enough to be introduced to a couple of very important people in the supplement business..(i’m not one to name-drop) who I hope to be working with in the near future. I am still in the process of scaling down some pics for posting..today is my last day of vaca, so I really want to enjoy it…back to Target tomorrow for the first time in 12 days..all good things have to end eventually…right?

For a lot of people, the kind of music they listen to doesn’t really scratch the surface as to who they are, or more importantly to this jumbled thought..how they view themselves. people know that I have the chorus to a song tatted across my back. It is from a band named Flaw, from a song called "Only the Strong" I used to watch my nephew a lot when he was just a baby, and to get him to go to sleep, I would sing this song..(they made a acoustic piano version, I wasn’t like screaming to him or anything.lol) Bands will break up, (as Flaw did..but I hear they are getting the band back together..woot!) but the music they make will stay with you as long as you live. I would never get a band name inked on me, but I had no problem going under the needle for this song that means so much to me. what makes me really LOVE a song?..it has to be able to stop me in my tracks, and be able to clear my mind of anything when I am listening to it, you will feel it in your stomach when the lyrics are being sung or when the instruments are playing. Now remember I am not just talking about liking a song..it is easy to like a catchy song..but ask yourself..does it move me?
Breaking Benjamin "Phobia" The Diary of Jane (acoustic)
Bullet for My Valentine "The Poison"…..All These Things I Hate
Disturbed "Ten Thousand Fists"…..Two Worlds
Five Finger Death Punch "The Way of the Fist"…..The Whole CD…
Flaw "Through the Eyes" The Whole CD.."Endangered Species" Recognize
Hurt "The Blackmarket EP, Vol. I, Vol II."…..Everything they have done…seriously.
Killswitch Engage "As Daylight Dies" As Daylight Dies, My Curse, Desparate Times..
Mastodon "Leviathan" Blood and Thunder, Iron Tusk.."Blood Mountain" Sleeping Giant
Metallica "Load" The Outlaw Torn (favorite band of all time, way too many to list..)
Mudvayne "The End of all Things to Come"…..My Lifting CD….enough said
Rise Against "The Sufferer and the Witness"…..Injection, The Good Left Undone
Sevendust "Alpha"….. Under
Stone Sour "Come What(Ever) May"….. Cardiff
now remember, I like a lot more songs, different songs for different moods, for different activities..but these are the songs that define me.

ok, so I have been sick now for what seems like forever. a week ago, I got this damn flu that everyone in PA has, and I slept 32 hours straight..my saturday off from work..yeah, I slept through it…I didn’t miss any work all week, but I wasn’t feeling much better either. so from Friday to the following Saturday, I didn’t tough a weight. so I started feeling better, worked out a couple of days, and then started my vacation this past Tuesday..Tuesday evening I got sick again with a 48 hour flu bug, and today I finally feel better, the best I have felt in almost 2 weeks now. my weight though…my weight is down to 188 now..the lowest it has been for over a year and a half..I just haven’t been able to eat much at all, especially not in the past couple of days…but I am away from Target until the 4th of March, and today I started my Arnold Countdown..I already watched The Running Man this morning, and will continue to watch at least 2 Arnold movies per day until the Classic. I have Collateral Damage in right now. peace out!

two weeks since my last post, it feels like almost that long since I lifted. I was looking at my paycheck online yesterday, and I noticed that if you add up all of the overtime I put in this year, I have actually worked an extra 5 weeks! that is some crazy shxt right there folks…I have been working 6 days pretty steady since the last week of August. But now that is over…and the lifting will commence again..hell I haven’t even shaved for almost a month..I am warmer though…I guess that is a bonus. scraggly as I may be…

I was digging around in one of my file folders today, and I found a picture of my back from 2005, before I got the lyrics tatt’d. I photoshopped how I thought the new tat would look, I even photoshopped smudged a couple of zits out too..lol..It will come up in a progression pic soon enough I am sure, I have been looking and laughing at all the pics I have taken over the course of this year..86 folders of pics..crazyness..I also found this one from 2004, that looks like a mugshot of a crazyman..it will probably take me the rest of the day to sort through this mess, but at least I will get some laughs…

Hi everybody! I didn’t fall off of the planet or anything, it is just that little thing called 4th quarter retail. here is a little recap of how my week has gone..we will start with the 5-5 shift I worked on Black Friday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight on Saturday night, 3:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Sunday night, back in at 6 Monday morning til 3, 6-3 on Tuesday 9 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. yesterday, and a good old 6-5 today, and 8-4:30 tomorrow. Now don’t get me wrong…Target loves your business, but please be civil…if you see I am helping someone else…wait until I am finished before you ask me a question..if you see that my light is off at the register…please go to another open lane…
and for the 500th time..NO, WE DON’T HAVE ANY WII’S!…buy a 360..they are better.

ok, I really feel good about where my body is going..I wake up every morning feeling strong, and looking dry with some nice cuts and striations..I decided to go into my picture vault and look for a picture to compare to the ones I took yesterday..I wanted to find one from before I started using the Spectra Force products…I found one from August, which is about 3 weeks before I started taking the Thermophoric Diet Caps…the picture speaks for itself I think..I mean I am eating the same, and pretty much taking the same supps…I had a month of Hemaguno/Furaguno in there too..and if anybody is down for some Call of Duty 4 or Guitar Hero on 360…hit me up..gamertag jcweber..please…my friend list is weak…lol
take care everybody..
