back on the shelf again
Friday, May 8th, 2009sometime around the second week of April, I went to the doctor because I was having the severe neck/shoulder pain again that sidelined me for a couple of weeks early on this year. turns out he diagnosed me with cervical degenerative joint disease (DJD) saying that my neck was pretty worn down for being almost 30..he kept saying how abnormal and shocking my X-Rays were for never having played a contact sport or not having been in a serious accident or anything. He also said I have a paracervical strain down my spine which is causing all of my shoulder pain because is pulling over. so on top of that I was sick for about a good 10 days straight, and I couldn’t start my Physical therapy until this past Tuesday. so I go down and my therapist tells me that my pelvis is outta whack, and my back is pretty screwed up too from what he can tell from stretching me out. so I go twice a week for a month and if I feel no better, back to the doc for an MRI and whatever else….yeah, it sucks…
