New Goals
Sunday, March 8th, 2009Since I began my weight training journey in Feb 08 I have had my ups and downs, injuries, gains, moments of pride and failure.
What I have learned most: I work very hard and I need to give myself more credit for it.
I find myself continually beating myself up for skipping a work out of gaining a few pounds to the point where I am completely disgusted with myself. Don’t get me wrong, I want to improve and meet fitness goals always. I have learned, however, that I can’t do this if I am beating down my own biggest supporter—myself.
We are all human and do not live perfect lives. I really want to be able to enjoy my progress while building confidence that I need to keep going—despite my set backs.
