I think I need a new trainer

I had my weekly training session this morning – was really happy with the upper body part of the workout because she worked me hard with dips, bench press, dumbbell flys, over head press, shoulder raises, and bicep curls. My arms were shaking, and it was hard for me to even brush my hair later! BUT… then for lower body she wanted me to do unweighted donkey kicks, hydrants, ballet kicks, etc. WTF??? After the first set, I opted out and did walking lunges to the step up machine, did a set of weighted step ups, and walking lunges back, then appeased her with ball squats against the wall and plie squats, She really thought she was doing me a favor because I have bad knees, but in my opinion, if I can do step ups and lunges, I’m good. IMO, those silly unweighted aerobics moves are for the squishy cardio queens. She is so hit or miss – some weeks are great and others are not. Of course, I’m a bitch and will do whatever I want regardless as to what she tells me. ESPECIALLY when she is going easy on me. I could slack off the whole workout if I wanted, so why am I paying a trainer to motivate me??

yeah doesn’t sound too motivating if you off doing your own thing….you can do alot of the stuff she teaches you(that you were complaining about) and make it very hard and sweaty if you know what your doing btw… i teach alot of it.
