of people who don’t care about their body’s saying ‘You don’t look healthy.’ Well guess what…I don’t workout to please them…I workout to please myself and be healthy. And while they get all fat and need to catch their breath just standing up and don’t care to do anything about it….ERRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!! I don’t say anything to them about how they look!!!! Really pisses me off sometimes…it really does and I don’t mean to upset anyone on here…I know everyone on here cares about their body and is trying and succeeding in doing something about it.

FINALLY made it to the beach and what A GREAT beach day. The weather was perfect. The water was perfect. Everything was perfect. There were a lot of great beach bodys there that inspired me to workout even harder and a lot of others that inspired me to keep working out also. All-in-all it was a great day in the sun…FINALLY!!!!

Had to change my workout days this week due to so many softball games this week due to rainouts. Had strong workout Thursday thru Sunday. Have to take Monday thru Wed off for softball games…but at least I’ll still be running around getting some exercise so it’s not all bad.
My lifts were strong this weekend with my bench feeling really good. My legs are still sore from the past couple weeks. Did an energy audit at Six Flags for four days (non-stop walking for 8 hours each day) then went home, worked-out and ran 2.5 miles. Legs are still sore from this but they’ll catch up. I’ll give’em a day to rest here and there.
This New England weather is killing me though…enough of this rain already!!!! We had a double-header in the rain last night…HORRIBLE!!!! and no umps show up…of course. All-in-all it was still a good time…a horribly good time

Been going through a reading phase the last two months. Have read about 10 books and during this current phase and am almost finished with John Irvings "A Prayer For Owen Meany." I only allow myself to read after I workout for at least an hour. It feels good to sit back with a book to end the day. I mostly read mystery/thrillers so this genre of book is usually not in my hands but I am still enjoying it very much. I read Michael Crichtons "State Of Fear" and John Grishams "The Broker" before my current book and both were excellent.

I finally ran the 6 minute mile. I was able to accomplish running for 6 minutes on the treadmill at 10 mph. I felt like my heart was going to explode (exagerrating a bit) but was determined to do it. I always post better times outside but still need to do the same thing outdoors anyway. I am in no doubt in the best shape of my life and still getting better. I never would have thought I would enjoy running as much as I do…what a great stress reliever on top of lifting.

I was curious to know how/when everyone measures their body parts. Do you measure and record your measurements on your bodysapce before a workout or when you are pumped after you workout? I recroded mine before a workout or on an off day. I wish there were two spaces to record our measurements for pumped and unpumped.

Well it’s that time of year again just about. All the games I pre-ordered for the Fall and Winter are starting to come out with the cold weather. This will help me get through the winter as well as working out hard. There’s nothing better than playing video games after an awesome workout. Looking forward to GOW2 and Midnight Club LA the most. Need For Speed Undercover promises to be amazing also among many more titles that I already ordered including Aliens and the new Splinter Cell to name a couple.
Anyone else on here a video game junky in the winter?

We finally won the softball championship. After many years we finally came out on top. It is such a great feeling to win with these guys. Winning with this team means everything…we’ve played so many years together and have held together through all these years. I’m putting a movie together with footage from the games…I’ll post it when it’s done.

Made it to the finals in softball for the fourth year in a row. Will be taking it easy on workouts until after the finals. Workouts will be small…just enough to stay loose and maintain…maybe 3x’s a week. As soon as they are over the workouts should be back and more focused than ever…can’t wait.
