I Am Hungry!!!
Six weeks left until comp. I actually have a pretty decent amount of food in my nutrition plan..but GEEZ! I haven’t been this hungry since I was pregnant I think. It’s that relentless kind…doesn’t go away with glasses of water or chewing gum. I am praying for strength, I need it to get through these weeks. I have a feeling that my body just wants to grow. My muscles are begging for more food…all this lifting heavy and then I throw them just enough food to keep me going. I am not looking for cheat meals, I want like 3 or 4 more healthy meals a day
Meanwhile, my brain is like WTF are you doing miss Amy?? I think I need to get outta this house today and away from the kitchen.

Amy…I am in the process of leaning out…usually do not have a problem dropping weight; but have also been really hungry lately I have had success eating six small meals a day (high protein) and increasing calories on the days I work out hard to compensate

I am hoping my mind is not playing tricks on me…probably is though!!! Hopefully, it is just my metabolism rev’d up causing me to be hungry?

I hear hun!!! I actually woke up from hunger pains this morning!!LOL! I would suggest getting out of the house and keeping yourself busy. That’s what I have been doing. Hang in there we are almost there!!

I have the same problem! I feel like I am absolutley starving about 10 minutes after I eat too! Izzie’s got the solution I think. I do better when I keep crazy busy outside the house! I can stay away from treats and food while running around, but I have a hard time staying out of my kitchen when I am at home! You are looking incredible by the way!!

Can you add protein snacks w/o significant calories? It would satisfy, maintain and build muscle, and keep the bf low.

for the past 2 weeks, I’ve been adding 2 servings of 2/3c sugar free jello with glutamine, liquid BCAAS, and creatine per day. It’s been curbing my sweet tooth. Just a thought

Hey, sometimes when we can’t have something, our minds want it more. (problem with most men - ha ha). Anyway, if you are pretty comfortable with your diet, then hang in there. Fight the thoughts, and focus on your goal. YOU CAN DO THIS
And you will get through this. Food is only a source of fuel, make sure you have just the right amounts, and then forget it.
It is going to be worth it in the end.

Good luck sticking with your eating plan. ur mind can help us so much, but it can also hinder us. Keep moving forwards, and enjoy your journey.

Amy try Calm and Calmer…I swear it works. Just at least try it. I haven’t been taking it since last year and I just started taking it last week and my cravings are gone and I’m not as hungry.
