I Am Shot …
Friday, January 9th, 2009Today was leg day. I love leg day because I (for whatever reason) get really fired up beforehand. Well I had strength increases on every exercise! There’s nothing better than that. Afterwards, I did my HIIT session. That was a killer…I am by no means a pansy, but I had some tears on the last few . The bottoms of my feet were burning! I need it though…it’s comp prep time and my bodyfat needs to come down. Then I had to deal with the 10 inches of snow in the driveway. So I did half hour increments and hoped my hubby would be home early to help me! Thank goodness he was. The middle of my back is a huge knot right now. When we finished…we looked across the street at our neighbor’s half finished driveway. He has heart problems. Without saying a word, we went over an spent another 45 minutes on that. So this is why I am shot. Good thing I can sleep in tomorrow…YAY!!
Give Me A Break!
Thursday, January 8th, 2009Ok so I am a little tired and grumpy today but I gotta write this. First of all….I knew the questions were going to come as I switched trainers. So to hopefully answer the questions I keep getting asked…here we go.
1. What happened?
Nothing happened
2. Did I discontinue training with JP FIT?
Yes
3. Why did I do this?
People hire trainers all the time. It’s not uncommon to change your trainer. I will not compare the two, so please don’t ask me to. They are BOTH excellent. Ask around if you need to.
As I wrote in my previous blog, Jason is nothing but first class. Look at my progress pictures, they tell the story better than I can. Going forward, I will always support him and respect him. Not only is he a great trainer…..but a person I could relate with right away. I had some tough personal times during comp prep, Jason was there for me. He didn’t have to do that. So PLEASE can we just move forward…I have work to do, and this is not a soap opera, it is a bodybuilding site.
My Training Summary with JP FIT
Tuesday, January 6th, 2009When I started training with Jason Phillips in 2008, I had no idea what to expect. He was my first trainer ever. Right from the beginning, I received weekly workouts and nutrition plans. I remember not being able to walk for a week after my first leg day! I thought to myself, oh geez Amy…what have you gotten yourself into? Come to find out, I got myself into the best situation I had ever experienced. From that moment until the first week of January 2009, Jason’s training made a huge impact on my physique. I was challenged with every new workout! I also wanted to mention that I could not have won my first competition without him. He gave me his 100% full attention…and encouraged me day after day. I’d like to thank Jason for helping me achieve my goals and inspiring me to set new ones!
