A New Year Ahead
Usually I find myself setting goals at this time of year. I do alot of reflecting on what I may or may not have accomplished too. Most importantly, I am feeling most grateful for my prayers being answered as I celebrate my two year sobriety. I would not be the person I am right now if I was still living that nightmare. Apparantly, I took a very early interest in tossing back a beer too as I found this pic of me today. I feel very fortunate and blessed to have the strength to fight this terrible disease. As the new year approaches, I am looking forward to staying healthy . By utilizing all aspects of training, I am managing to keep my self esteem up somewhat and feel a sense of accomplishment. In 2009, I plan to bring my best physique to the stage…and more importantly, love the person I have become.

Amy,
I wish you all the best in your endevors for next year. I will be in your corner routing you on. I too am reflecting on things this year. I have also been pondering the future. My son has PDD-NOS, a form of autism. There are many scenarios how he will progress. It is a real awaking.
Hope you and your family have a Merry Christmas.

Right on Amy! I’m taking charge of things for myself this year as well. Working a crazy flight schedule I find I have to be extra creative in finding my workout time. You’re gonna rock it sister - I can feel it! -xo D
