Gotta Love Cardio
I am so happy that my endurance is FINALLY increasing again. I had stopped doing cardio many months ago while trying to gain muscle.. before I started training with Jason. For me personally, I get VERY hungry on a weight training program. I have never been able to lose weight from just lifting weights and building muscle. But…I was able to lose 20 lbs from hanging on the treadmill many months ago! So at this point of my competition prep..I certainly need to do both. The first few weeks of easing back into sprints was not fun…I was miserable. But, today when I ran this morning..I was able to increase my speed and run farther on my steady pace run. That is a huge accomplishment for someone who honestly has never been a runner…ever….I was the walking 12% incline person who could do that forever. But, the body adapts to stresses placed upon it , so that will do me no good now. Since Jason added cardio back into my life (LOL)…I am losing fat , YEAH!! I have a ways to go, but things are looking real good and I am happy

Glad you enjoyed your cardio session. Hopefully it was outdoors. I hate the treadmill. I need to step it up with weights and diet, but I am stubborn, so I don’t know when I’ll get to that. Keep enjoying your journey. Keep moving forwards. Good luck as the big event approaches. Did you see where Amy won both her division and overall?

I love cardio as well, but not in the form of running because it’s to hard on my knees. I love to dance. Happy to hear that you are enjoying your return to the cardio scene.

Glad it was a good cardio session. I hate doing cardio so getting back into it is always tough for me to.
