Day 6 - my fluffiest
I will start by saying today I learned when I like to be my fluffiest. As I was making dinner for my family, which I really try to keep healthy so I’m not tempted, I found myself pillaging thru my pantry to stuff anything I could in my mouth, almonds (ok, not so bad), flatbread with mozzarella, cashews, more almonds, almonds mixed with cashews. So let me see if I can spell it S-A-B-O-T-A-G-E . . .
So what the f&$# was that! I had a great workout, followed by a 30 minute cardio session, have been eating clean, had the mental attitude that I was really going to concentrate on eating clean, doing this cleanse, working out and increasing my cardio. Today I have learned that between 5-6 is a terrible time for me, I just want to eat, have to figure out why. I even ate an apple and a handful of almonds to get me thru the dinner making process, but it didn’t stop me from indulging even more. I was craving carbs, maybe I just didn’t have the proper amounts thruout the day, who knows!?!?!?
Today I will learn from this, tomorrow I will chew gum! Maybe that will help . . .
I will defluff, I will defluff, I will defluff . . .

So often we are our own worse enemies. Now your are preparing strategies to try and fight your self destructive tendencies. Good Luck, and keep moving forwards.

yes tomorrow is a new day…since we cant dwell on today. I think that is my worst times and i usually will go to the gym in that time. 430-600 or 530-600. Today i am tired and taking it easy. My kids have been bad lol.
Bad boys…sigh…my youngest made me proud today though. He did a mini tri through a school program and did his in 42 minutes.
It was his idea to do a swim, bike and run.
Good on him…mom is so proud

How is your day going today? I know the feeling of being super good then acting like a bull in a china shop devouring everything in sight. Do you use fitday? sometimes in our minds we chalk up the extra food to be so great in calories when it wasn’t as bad. Just keep working at it and you would eventually get better at it…

oh crap, I keep losing my comment. I Just wanted to say that sometimes we overestimate how many calories we went crazy over. Don’t think about it too much. Also try green tea when you feel like you are going crazy for something. It cuts the craving, at least I find so. Just keep at it girl, one day we will be like the pros and master this craziness!

I know all about self-sabotage. But the first step is awareness, and you have that down. I try to remember how I felt last time I ate unconsciously and it helps (somethimes). Hang in there and don’t beat yourself up. We are works in progress:)
