How I Stay Motivated . . .
Monday, January 28th, 2008Realizing that my last blog was in November, well very busy time of the year and of course not so happy with myself, felt like I had traveled back in time to exactly one year ago, overweight and unhealthy and lying to noone but myself.
So, 2008 is here and I can happily say that I have changed the "How I Stay Motivated" question in my profile from "currently not motivated" to "currently, my trainer". What a wonderful way to start my blogs again. I started meeting with my boy (yes, Juls MY boy) the beginning of December. The days were kind of off and on because of both of us, holidays, sick kids, life in general. I am happy to say that the month of january has been great! My plan is to meet with him 3x/week, Mon, Wed, Fri. Since I’ve started I have had 12 sessions with him and my strength is back to where it was right before his surgery. I am so very happy, like he told me, gotta love muscle memory. I am currently doing a 4 day weight workout, working front of the body and then back 2x per week and cardio, cardio, cardio to try and burn my lifetime of fat. My eating has been clean and after a weekend of accountablity with my girlfriend, I am finally not craving carbs. I think my body is finally changing in regards to the food, that is a milestone for me. Hope to post some new pics soon. Will try to keep up on my blogs and get in touch with those of you that have given me support and strength on this journey of mine.
