my response…..

HMMMM?? Where to start. First, I train hard enough to make a grown man puke. Second, When some say that the diet is designed for you to CHEAT….I DONT!! I eat as clean as it gets.
I am 46 yrs. old…and have been lifting for 20 plus years… (does this person know anything about muscle maturity?) and have always trained my upper body like a guy. Did this person see my lower half. If in fact I was using steriods…my lower body would be just has hard and conditioned as my upper body. but its not. (steriods dont decide where they want to build muscle) Not competiting until the past two years, I’ve NEVER trained my legs like I should have been, but genetics plays a huge part in my upper body. With all that said. IM Two weeks out from a show….with all the muscle that I carry in my upper body. I SHOULD BE this hard, dry and lean. I would love for someone to challenge Iris, Jay, Ronnie or anyone else that LOOKS GOOD with a question like that. Plus….why does anyone care? Just a question…..
Anyway, thanks for your thoughts and input.
Take care……

Just a thought..but if you were to go back and look at my progress pics from the Arnold….about 2-5 weeks out my back was getting pretty cut and lean.  And I was doing figure.   I have had some comment on how many changes I have made in the past 6 months.  Well, isnt that the goal?  Especially, if you’re going from figure to BB???  I needed to put on size and gain some muslce.  So, why is it that if you Train hard….diet right and look good.  Everyone assumes you take steriods.??

all comments welcome.  And remember im 2 weeks out from a show…..

You by no means look like you take steroids (Ive seen enough people that do to know) I would venture to say the person telling you this probably started lifting a week ago.

But I hear this as well by natural BBs. When you ask them how long they have worked out its almost always a few years at best. I just take it as a compliment and laugh it off.

You look amazing and I bet you do very well in your show!

    Best!

That’s awesome! I’m motivated and inspired by your hardwork and dedication, because it shows…I look forward to the next 20 years of my lifting if I can get anywhere close to where you are now!!

I couldn’t wait to read your response!! You put it extremely well. When I look at your profile and all your training you do, the thought of you using steroids NEVER even crossed my mind. Just good solid dedicated hardcore training made you what and who you are. Nothing but total respect and admiration for you! Can’t begin to imagine what he/she…most likely a he..looks like..yuck!!won’t even go there!! :)

As a six foot tall guy that barely breaks 200 lbs when cut, I GET asked about steroids??? How crazy is that?? It’s the uneducated layperson who’s never moved past the treadmills and chrome weight section of a gym that ask such ludicrous things usually. It’s the knee-jerk response of our media-conditioned generation. "You have a pec, you must do steroids!" For pity sake, if any ONE of those cardio bunnies and flab boys would read more than the mass media rags, or God forbid, put enough weight on a barbell to actually make themselves grunt, they might BEGIN to get a portion of a clue. You were far nicer in your response than I could have been. Just more fuel for my crush on you!

Haven’t sen you since the Arnold would like to know what stack you are using LOL. Seriously though you look fantastic and i know you are 100% natural. Great job and good luck. Jim and Trish

Those that question you and your work ethic and methods are those who have never had the dedication or work ethic that you have. They are just looking for a weak point, an excuse, to satisfy and rationalize their inequity. Keep up the fire!
