Do cleans have a real need for football? I know I will need to start doing more overhead pressing, incline bench, front squats, and skill drills. I’ll let you all know how it goes.

Goals for this year are a 1300 total suited/shirted and 1100 raw. I want to get over 180lbs and still be lean.

Well in the last year I’ve grown a lot. I’ve put on a lot of weight, but managed to stay pretty lean. I was 145lbs at the end of Aug. 2006. I am now ~174lbs dry. I feel a lot more confident and think that all the compliments I’ve recieved have helped me to stay motivated.

I’ve been doing powerlifting type training with low reps and high weight. My lifts have went up a lot in the last 6 months. My raw bench went up ~70lbs and my deadlift went up over 100lbs. I’ve grown to love the strength more then anything. I’m going to be writing more often so look for updates.

September 5th, so I think it is going well. I started lifting in Jan. 2006 hoping to impress the ladies. Since then I put on some good size and now I do it for the results it has on my body. I just competed in a Raw Push/Pull meet on November 18th and smashed some PRs.
