Does anyone know where to get an accurate yet reasonable priced scale? I have bought 2 scales and they are driving me nuts. I got a digital one but it only weighs in .5 increments and will give me 2 different numbers back to back? And the manual one tells me I am 4.5 less than the digital. I know the balance beam scales are accurate but the cheapest is $138 on Amazon.com…. AARRGGHHH!

Back on a serious plan of self denial. The Word says self denial is key. So I have been on a 1320 calorie plan daily (12 calories per pound * 110 pounds goal according to low activity) and 20 grams of fiber a day. I have been on it for 5 days and have stayed within limits. I know protein and carbs are key to defining muscle but I will focus on that a bit later, when I am stronger mentally.

So now I am drinking 4 glasses of water a day and striving for 6 glasses, my final goal. The sweets are hard to kick so I still maintain at no more than 1 a day. Trying to get at least 1 serving of veggies a day now too, the goal is 3 a day….

Hit my 1st water goal of 2 glasses a day and now I am at 4 glasses a day. And hit my 1st "sweet" goal to no more than 1 sweet a day. Lost around 2 lbs. just from doing that. Now, I want to be sure to get at least 1 veggie a day and keep doing the water and sweet goal….

I lost about 30 lbs. on my own the first time by kicking bad habits slowly. So that is what I am trying again. Trying to eat only one sweet a day as opposed to up to 3. ANd trying to drink at least 2 cups of water a day as opposed to one….

I now have a trainer for about the next 7 weeks. She won 2nd place in a World Amateur competition in 2000. I have totally new everything… I am so excited.

My friend recently achieved 2nd place in her first figure competition. She is currently on the following diet and I am following it as well:

130g Protein
35g Carbs
=<10g Saturated Fat
