Great! Sports injury! Just my luck! Well, I guess I started off running on the treadmill to soon. Doctor thinks I have a tear in my meniscus, which will mean surgery! I am so depressed! I love to workout out! I know I will still lose weight because I have no problem with my diet, but won’t be near as fast. Working out just makes me feel so good! I will try to do arm cardio and upper body weight lifting. heh I was on a role and this had to happen! Oh well, this won’t stop me! Just because I can’t do my crazy intense workouts doesn’t mean I can’t lose weight/ get healthy. Lesson learned!

Well, this week I worked my butt off! According to my Bodybugg, I was burning on average 3,200 Calories a day and taking about 20,000 steps this past week. My sedentary calories are 1,700 Calories a day. Saturday and Sunday I worked out for approximately 3hrs and was reaching 11 calories a minute. Normally, working out that hard and that much I would be losing up to 7 to 8 pounds that week. Well, not anymore….I lost, only, 3.8 lbs. this week. I am happy with it and that I lost any, but I am so used to the big numbers. I guess I need to stop being so obssessive about the number on the scale. I have to remember that I am getting smaller, therefore burning less calories. Soon this will all be behing me and I will be wanting to see muscle gains instead. Just have to give it about 2 more months. Gotta keep up the hard work! I will get there and it will all be so so so worth it.

Well, I am back!! I have had a horrible 4 or so months. I Tried The Body for Life program and the first month was great and then I started wanting more Free days. The free days caused me to want bad food through out the week. It is a great program and so many people have had success with it, but it just made things worse for me. Anyway before I knew it, I gained over 15 pounds back. Omg! I can’t tell you how much I cried. It was a horrible feeling knowing all that hard work you did just "trashed." I think the only way for me to lose weight and keep it off is to completely cut bad food out of my diet FOR GOOD! I do just fine if I don’t have it for a long time, but as soon as I taste a bit I want more. It is an addiction! I have to go "cold turkey." Anyway, I thought about quitting. I just can’t do that… Nothing Tastes As Good As Thin Feels! lol Well, I am going to take in all this as a lesson and "pick myself up" and try again. I am not completely back to where I was…Thank God. * I can do this!*

Well, I am not sure what happened, but I "fell off the wagon" and stopped losing weight. Couldn’t lose weight and I was getting frustrated. Kinda had a bad couple of months. I, fortunately, didn’t gain either! Thank God! So I decided to try the Body For Life plan. Read the book, bought the binder, etc. So for all interested. That’s what has been going on with me. I have seen and heard about so much success with this program. I am very excited to see if I finally found the key to my body’s weight loss. lol I am in my 4th day of 12 weeks and I feel great so far. I have my first weigh-in on saturday! Wish me luck!!!!

So for 3 weeks I have not lost hardly anything! I had been doing everything to a "T". Just like I had been doing for a while now and it was working! SO I began doing some research and found that your body makes itself become efficient with what you are doing and in order to get results you need to keep doing different things to "shock" your body persay. Oh my gosh! 3 weeks and I just now find that out! lol So anyway I tested this fact. Instead of doing the elliptical for 30 minutes, (which is what I always do) I jogged outside for 30 minutes. Omg! I am so sore! LOL My weight finally broke from 165! YES! Oh man! lol Well, hopefully to anyone who reads my blog…don’t make this same mistake! lol ~~Anyway to any woman (or even man theres a lot of interesting/important information in this) buy or check out from the library (if they have it) whatever you do read this book! *The New Rules of Lifting for women* by Lou Schuler! There is so much good information in it. Even if you think you may know everything there is to know about lifting still read it! lol You may just be surprised.

For 2 months now I have worked out twice a day and been eating healthy and staying at about 1600 calories a day. It feels like it’s been forever and I feel like I am still a fat ass. lol I know I didn’t get like this overnight, but I have two friends who never eat right or excersise and they are beautiful and skinny. /sadface I have to work my butt off just to be not so fat. lol /sigh I love the feeling of working out and being healthy and I know that I am doing "good" for my body, I just get a little discouraged sometimes. I can’t wait till my hard work starts to really, really show off! What I am doing is working great and I have been averaging about 2 pounds per week which is fine as I do not want loose skin. I know I just have to keep on doing what I am doing and I will be "thin" in no time! I just have to be patient and keep my focus. Anyway, I just felt like blogging today. I CAN DO THIS!

I used to think taking before photos of myself would be horrible for my motivation, but I decided to take one 6 weeks ago. I ,recently, took a new one (a week ago to be exact) and I ,now, realize that it plays such an important role in your weight loss! The best motivation! I never would have realized how well I was doing if I hadn’t taken them! I totally needed that extra motivation this week! I can do this!
