It’s been a while…
So after two MRI’s, bloodwork and seeing a couple doctors we have identified why I am getting migraines from lifting. I have some degenerative discs in my spine in my neck that put pressure on my spinal cord during intense muscle tension or pressure. Although I can’t reverse the effects I can work towards preventing them from getting worse. So, I am off to physical therapy to learn some techniques to manage this problem – more of a nuisance now (it’s been going on for about 3months).
My hope is that they don’t tell me to stop doing things that I like. I’ve been applying Scivation Cut Diet principles and I am really impressed. Although I have not followed it to the T I have been getting good results. The lift program has really increased my strength and I can see some changes now. I have slacked on my cardio so I will be getting that back into my routine as I want to be looking lean(er) for summer.
I just went to Hawaii in Jan for a friends wedding, still haven’t seen any pictures so I don’t know how different I look compared to my Hawaii trip last summer which is when I joined BSpace determined to make changes.
