This week was the last day I had with a trainer who has been working with me on my core. I had a caliper body fat test which was 19.5%BF. I started at 23.5% so a 4% percent loss was good news. Those results aside, I’m able to pull my belts a notch tighter these days.
I only made it in for a morning cardio session once this week which was a disappointment. However, last Monday I was active with the kids, playing soccer, running around and we even ran the stairs in the high school stadium. So I chalked it up as a light cardio day. I got my morning cardio in on Tuesday but it was only 30 minutes. Wednesday – well no cardio. Thursday – 20 minutes cardio post lift. Friday – no cardio. That aside I did lift Tue-Fri. It’s been kind of an off week with the kids going back to school and late nights because of the kids’ soccer practices.
I’m a bachelor this weekend which will make it even tougher to get my workouts done. I have to take the kids to their soccer games today and the child care at my gym is open for only a short time this morning. I want to try to get a workout in today and tomorrow as I have to catch a plane Sunday evening for a quick trip to Oakland, CA. I’ll be home Monday night but I won’t be able to workout that day so it’s important that I get in the gym this weekend.
Diet has been spot on this week. I’m always getting comments at work about my healthy lunches. The lunches get boring but the fat loss is worth it. So, I’m happy with my 6 week results but I’m still a ways off from my goals.
