Is There Help 4 Me
I’ve had two weight loss surgeries( gastric bypass in 1994, and the lap band in 2005). I lost weight initially but gained it back on in less than 1 years. The lowest weight with the first surgery was 198 lbs, and with the second 240. I feel depressed about it, but I must move on. I’m determined to lose the weight, and gain muscle and get the body I have always dreamed of. My ultimate goal is 127 lbs and 7-11% body fat.
I have lost my zing regarding weight training. I need some direction, and some pro’s to show me some love and lead me in the right direction, especially from those who have been there, and did that.
My 40th birthday will be memorable, and the others to come as well because I will not be that frumpy, wide flat bootie broad any more!!!!!
Holla if You Hear me!

I’m definitely not a PRO, but I’m learning that a little exercise each day helps. And, watching what you eat…but, there is a lot of information on this site. So, look around and visit the articles on bodybuilding.com and they can help you. Take it one day at a time

Choices.
Do you know what is good for you and bad.
You have to change your life and nutrition.
Diets are for bodybuilders and fitness people.
You have to learn that certain things you do not eat anymore.

Oh believe me, I hear ya. I’m not there yet either. I’ve never been there. Sounds like we’re on the same road. Maybe we could encourage each other. I’m still getting to know the site but I’ll be watching for ya. Jo

Being in your shoes myself, I understand what it feels like to call around and consider for myself the surgeries that you have had.
I want to say to you that I dont want you to consider the surgeries a sign that you will never be successful in managing your weight.
The reason why I decided against the surgery for myself, is because I realized something, a truth:
Would it make sense to believe that my obesity was caused from a lack of bypass surgeries? No that is ridiculous, so why would the solution be to have it?
Rebuke the beast, aksjv3!
The solutions are to both do what you have undone and undo what you have done, to correct your goals.
Blessings,
Juliet.

I’m feeling energized and ready for today. I have packed my lunch and made my protein shakes for school. I will workout between classes so I’m prepared with all of my tool for success - Ipod, towel, and water. This morning weigh-in was water but I will take all that I can get to get down to my goal weight. Today I will push myself with strong hard cardio. I must prepare myself for the 5k race that I will enter in a couple of months. I purchased new workout close and shoes so I AM READY.
God has not given me a spirit of fear. NO FEAR, only Victory!!!!! I’m in it to win it
