Day 10 of 100

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

I am worn out. Went to the gym and basketball for about 2 hours today. Yesterday I was slacking on my fitness. I didn’t workout at all and I went out and drank some beer with a co-worker. I’ll make up for it tommorrow by putting in two workouts and eating well. Overall I must say that I have more energy and I don’t feel as bloated since I started working out hard. I don’t know if my body has changed a whole lot and my weight hasn’t dropped much this week but I feel better. Sticking with the program will yield success. Gotta hit that 250 mark by June so I gotta up the cardio and reduce my overall caloric intake.

Day 7 of 100

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

I didn’t get to update yesterday but it went very well. I rode the ike to give my joints a break. I was still feeling it in my knees and ankles from b-ball on thursady. I lifted for about 30 minutes then I decided that I should incorporate running the hill inthe backyard to my daily routine. So on days that I runI’ll runt he hill five times after my run and on days when I ride the bike I’ll run it ten times and build from there. This morning I got up and it was perfect outside for a run so I snuck out and ran for about 20 minutes. When I got back I ran the hill. I plan on taking the rest of the day off from working out but I’m gonna hit it hard on Monday. Eleven pounds in one week is awesome. I gotta stay motivated.

Day 5 of 100

Friday, April 24th, 2009

Today was a pretty good day. A light workout this morning then a 30 minute bike ride this afternoon is keeping me on track. I ate a little more than I would have liked but I didn’t get too far off track. I gotta get through this weekend without bllowing all off my gains so far. I keep monitoring the scale but I won’t take an official weight until monday. I’ll also update my measurementsto see if my body has changed any.

Day 4 of 100

Thursday, April 23rd, 2009

Today was a great day. Woke up at 5 am and ran then I went to the gym to play a little b-ball this evening. I’m really feeling sore so I’m gonna call it a night early to let my body recover. I’m gonna get back at it first thing in the morning with a light jog and a lower body workout.

Day 3 of 100

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

My shoudlers are burning right now as I type this. Another productive day. I managed to recover from some slippage at lunch today. This is usually where I say eff it and eat like a maniac but I didn’t and I’m proud of myself. Ate a salad for dinner and afterwords a 20 minute jog and a upper body strength band workout. Didn’t get up this morning to run but I’ll get to bed early tonight and put in some work in the morning.

Day 2 of 100

Tuesday, April 21st, 2009

Just finished a 20 minute jog around the neighborhood. I hate being out of shape. I really enoy running when it doesn’t hurt so much. In a couple of weeks it won’t be so bad then I can really push myself. I stayed away from the fried chicken again today even though I was really tempted to eat just "one" piece. I’m gonna lift some weights tonight then homework and bed. Hopefully tommmorow I can actually get up and go running before work.

Day 1 of 100

Monday, April 20th, 2009

So far I have done well at sticking to healthy food choices today. I normaly start strong but waver somewhere near lunch and by dinner I’m off the wagon. I went to a buffet for lunch and ate a garden salad, steamed vegetables and a fresh fruit. I am proud of myself. I’m gonna workout hard tonight after I finish my homework and dinner and rest up for tommorow.
