Looking for Advice

November 5, 2008

My splits for workouts are chest/tris, back/bis, and shoulder/legs.  I do three exercises for each body part and three sets per exercise.  Im curious if I could increase my exercises to four for my back and chest and reduce it to two exercises for my tris and bis.  It just doesnt seem like my chest and back get worked enough.  Any advice would be helpful, thanks!

Welcome!

November 3, 2008

I finally took my measurements and its somewhat depressing.  A year and a half ago or so I was in great shape working in construction and decided to take a desk job.  I went from a 31 inch waist then to almost a 36 inch waist today and I about fell over.  I realized I was getting out of shape, but I didnt think it was that bad!  I went from working out a couple times a week to six days a week and started that last week.  I am bound and determined to get back into great shape and like my goals say, compete in the firefighter combat challenge.  I started eating smaller meals and at least five times a day instead of going out every day for lunch and eating until I am full!  Wish me luck and any advice you have I am happy to hear it!
