Have you ever been in this situation? You’ve worked HARD at the gym for months ,ate right, lost a ton of weight! NICE! ….and you feel great. Then you are appoached by a coworker or a relative. Something like this,"you look sick, are you eating? I mean you look a little thin". "You should eat something ,your getting too skinny"( with a frown). At that point don’t you feel just for a second , Why the hell am i doing this then! the fact is YOUR CHANGING,and some people aren’t used to other people changing. I warned one of my coworkers about this when he appoached me about loosing weight and getting in shape. I told him"when people see that you are loosing weight ,people sometimes say the wrong things. They will sometimes discourage you from your goals". So be aware of this before you loose weight. These are almost always overweight people. I told him don’t listen to that , just keep going. Sure enought a relative of his ,which just happens to work with him a few things ; " Why are you getting so skinny; are you sick; loosing weight is for 20 year olds, (and yes ,the man was overweight). i told my cowoker " next time ask him to race you up 6 flights of stairs. Then we’ll see who’s sick. Tell me , has this happened to you?

Just then a BIG dude walks up from 10 feet away and says " HEY MAN , I WAS USING THOSE" . I sayed OH ,sorry, and left them alone( just so I won’t make the big dude made). He had no patience and said "never mind" and grabed some 40s which he then cracked out a very anger 20 or so times. So I said to myself "forget this". Why do some people have to act like this?

On the pull down machine i did a warm up , then 2 minitues later started with a very intence set , can wait for my next set ( which i’m supposed to do 2 minutes appart at this time). I noticed someone waiting at the side looking a litte impatient, "do you want to switch off" I asked ,she replied YEAAA. She was a little rude. Did she switch off at the end of her set ….nope. So should i ask someone to switch off with me next time? -I’m not sure. I know it would be rude not too, should i take the chance to totally have my intencity shattered next time? (Humbly speaking)What would you do?

I resently went to the doctor because my joints were constantly popping and began to swell a little. It seem even after 3 weeks away from the weights they continued to be very sensative to pressure ( such as weight training) placed on them. I thought maybe it’s arthitis, but my doctor seemed to think I’m making up stories. Well my doctor gave me some pain pills and said to stop doing squats-yea right, okay. So I decieded to take an over the counter suppliment. I really wanted to work out beause my buddy was leaving me in the dust, I also couldn’t imagine never working my legs again. I would have to change my name to agymarmsonly or chickentony. So I took my late fathers advice and took some Glucosamine Chondroitin with MSM what ever that is, but i worked! Joint pain stopped! and no this is not a commercial. My workouts are great now and I’m pushing weights that I haven’t pushed for ten years. Sometimes I wonder if doctors really want to help or just wait till we fall apart.
