I completed a leg work out that was a good work out the other morning.  I am just writing about it.  I did leg extensions, squats, seated leg presses and lunges with no weights.  I hope to be able to squat 400 lbs.  My main goal is to weigh 180 lbs.  I weighed 175 in the Marines for years.  I weighed 235 at my heaviest.

 

I did a good routine on my calves.  They hurt for days because I don’t work them out enough.  I want better calf definition.  I’m going to go to the gym after work.  I didn’t go this morning and want to get in a good work out before the weekend.

My personal crisis continues. It is interfering with my workouts. I don’t concentrate like I should. I am getting into the routine of working out and writing my blog. I slept ok once I fell asleep. I woke up and did not want to move. I got up and did a good job working my hamstrings. I hope to get in the morning and work my quads. I want to be able to squat 400 lbs. I also want to drop another 20 lbs of fat.

 At this point I am regaining my motivation to work on my body. Once my 6 week work on quads is over I need to decide what I should do next. I think it will be my arms. The only problem with that is it will interfere with my back and chest routines. I’ll work it out some how.

I am back to writing in my blog.  I hope to continue to write.  In the last 4 months I had a very personal event.  It has kept me from working out the way I want too.  I was very upset and depressed.  My life is not over it and may be it never will be.  I want to be able to refocus my attention to me.

 

I have decided to work on my legs for the next 5 weeks.  I have restarted my training with squats.  I am going to do squats every other workout for the entire month of October and first week of November.  I started last week.  Once I am finished with that I am going to pick another body part to work on for 6 weeks.  Wish me luck.

I went to the gym this morning not in the mood in least bit.  My son lost my car keys.  I did a have ass job on my shoulders.  No running.  I am getting closer to pay day.  I hope to have some form of supplements.

I was not in the mood to work out today.  I did a weak ass routine.  I did 9 sets of flat bench presses.  I then ran on the treadmill for 20 minutes.  Nothing special.

This week has been the week of eating.  I attended another b-day party and ate cake and ice cream.  I gained about 1 lb since last weigh in. 
 

I went to the gym and did a good chest work out.  I did incline bench presses with dumbbells.  I used the Pec deck and decline bench press with a bar bell.  I ran 20 minutes after the workout. 
 

I need my pre and post workout drink.  Pay day I will have my drinks.  My camera broke so I no pics yet.  I took some on 1 May.  I need to get the courage and post.

I had a good work out this morning.  My wife had a b-day yesterday.  We had good food and drink.  I am surprised I woke up in time to go the gym.  As luck and body habit I woke up in time to arrive by 6am.  I drank several glasses of water before I left home.
 

I did a shoulder routine.  I did seated lateral raises.  Seated shoulder presses.  I also did standing bent over lateral raises.  I worked my delts using the pulling. 
 

I then ran on the tread mill for 18 minutes at a slow pace of 4 miles per hour.  My knees can only take so much.

Arrived at the gym by 6am.  I seem to be in a rut and always arrive at 6am.  No pre or post work out drink.  It’s a bitch being broke.  I did eat some low fat yogurt, nuts and dried cranberries for energy.  I need to get more rest.
 

I did squats and calf raises today.  I have been gradually working up the weight.  I was able to do 295 for 4 reps.  Not to bad. 
 

My calves need a tremendous amount of work.  They seem flat with little shape.  I use to think that my legs were my best parts.  I now know I need a lot of work.  I see definition.  I can only think of calf raises and various ways to do them for variety. 
 

I plan on interval training in the morning; may be one day off then.

I arrived at the gym around 6am.  I was not in the mood.  I worked my ham strings.  I decided to run 20 minutes of interval training after my work out.
 

I have no pre or post work out drink.  I need to buy some and will as soon as I get paid.  I did a half ass job at lifting weights.  On a good note I lost about 2 ½ lbs since last Monday.

No pre-work or post work drink this morning. 
 

I did a quad work out.  I first did leg extensions.  I then went into squats.  Prior to each set of squats I did lunges with no weights.  I did 7 sets with a maximum weight of 275 for 3 reps.  My thighs are killing me but I was able to walk up the steps.  Not a bad work out but could be improved.
