Keto Journal - Day Three, want beer.
Woke up starving and not looking forward to breakfast. I HAD to eat this leftover mixture of cinnamon flax oil, cottage cheese, ground cinnamon and apple pie flavored protein powder. The initial taste is really good, like dessert. But then I get this underlying after taste of oil, followed by cinnamon flavored burps and it just sicks me out. But I had to eat it cause I paid for it and I dont want to waste it! SUCK IT UP.
I did order some mango peach muscle milk. Planning on blending 1/2 serving with a tbsp coconut oil and ice. Works out to be 20g fat, 16 protein, 3 net carbs. Hopefully it will taste tropical or something. Maybe I’ll add some rum
kidding. I wonder if i could freeze it and make like a sherbet or ice creamy thing? Would that ruin the coconut oil?
INTAKE:
Meal One: 1/2C cottage cheese, 1/4 scoop apple pie flavored whey, 1 tbsp cinnamon flax oil, ground cinnamon, 2 eggs.
Meal Two: Protein Shake with 1 tbsp cinnamon flax (this one was much better than the cottage cheese mixture.)
Meal Three: 1 scoop 100% Egg Protein with splenda and cinnamon to taste (cinnamon theme today)
Meal Four: Two turkey and cheese roll ups, 3 omega caps, 6 coconut oil caps, 1 C broccoli
Meal FIve: Protein Bar, 1 C Broccoli, 6 coconut oil caps, 3 omegas
Meal Six: 2 tbsp natural PB, 8 coconut caps, 3 omegas.
Macros: 28g carb, 109g fat, 130g protein… around 1720 cals. yippy.
Workout: Interval Sprints and Abs - 3×20 reverse crunch, 3×30 sec side planks each side, and 3×20 body crunch. Was absolutely starving post workout, pretty much chugged the shake.. should have savored it because I so wanted more more more. The rest of me week is crazy busy. Actually the next 7 days is crazy busy. I havent felt fatigued yet so BRING IT ON.
I have my last four meals left now and its 1:30. If i space them out and pump the fluids to me i should be golden. I’m hungry x10 today though.
Sidenote: all of my friends are doing a keg race today. Sometimes I miss getting shit-faced on a wednesday afternoon for no reason. BUT, I remember how I used to feel, how i used to look, and how i wanted to look different. Having control feels good, and I’m proud to be a 21 year old who isn’t boozing 24/7. Its really made huge difference in more aspects of my life than just my physique. Wont lie though, I could go for a cold beer or two with dinner every single night.
