This is the first installment of my blog
Wednesday, May 16th, 2007So, I don’t really "blog" that much, but I figured I would start making this a habit at doing. Bodybuilding.com has made things so easy to keep up with my progress and help me achieve my goals. Well, enough plugging, here’s what’s going on in my neck of the woods.
With the school year coming to an end, my lifting partners have returned home and will not be here most likely ever again. So, i’m back on my own as far as lifting goes. It’s really okay though, I am able to focus more and concentrate on getting gains and achieving my own goals. I’ve taken what they’ve taught me and I try to give it my all each day.
Cardio has recently been brought into my routine, I hate, hate, hate, hate it! I can’t stand running on a treadmill, but I do it and I am thankful that I am capable of doing it. It is definitely getting me into better shape. I recently submitted my application for the highway patrol so i’m desperately getting my ass in shape for their 22 week boot camp.
If any of you out there have any advice on improving running times, I would be open for ideas. I need to be able to run 3 miles in 30 minutes or less by January 3rd. I’m working on it, but it’s a tough task.
I guess that’s really all that’s going on. Thanks for reading. Until next time;
"It’s so important to know where you are. I know where I am right now. How do you go from where you are to where you want to be? I think you have to have an enthusiasm for life. You have to have a dream, a goal. You have to be willing to work for it" -Jimmy Valvano (1946-1993)"
