One step forward, two steps back.

A few months ago I started to feel some pain in both of my elbows when doing triceps exercises.  I continued to push through the discomfort until it became a steady pain.  Now, almost three months later I am still not able to do even moderate weight with triceps and am just now able to do a little chest.  I went to the doc and have been doing PT for over a month now and it’s extremely slow healing.  Also in the meantime i hurt something in my forearm that wont seem to heal either.  So for the last three months I have been forced to lift extremely light or not at all with biceps and triceps, resulting in over an inch lost on my overall upper arm size.  Needless to say, I am very bummed out by my string of endless injuries.  Does it ever get any better?
