I had to take about 3 weeks off from training for job requirements. I finally got a chance to get back in the gym this morning. It felt great. I feel like I lost so much from the progress that I had made over the last three months. Hopefully I will not have to miss that much training time in the future.

Well I posted my first front-side picture. I was very nervous about this as most of the guys on here are already well built and defined. I figured that I might as well face the music though. I know I have a lot of work to do but I am very motivated to reach my goals. I want to gain muscle and at the same time lose my body fat. I’m currently at around 21% body fat (I know it shows in my abs) and I want to get down to under 10%.
Also, today was a leg day for me and though I was pretty pumped about doing legs, I took a look at my calves and became very disappointed. It seems like my calves will never grow. I do heavy sets low reps and sometimes I do light weight with high reps and nothing seems to work.

So far I have been going strong for about 2 months with my workouts. Though I seem to be motivated to keep it up, I know that I have to be patient with my results. I think I really need to start taking some whey protein. I started taking naNO Vapor and it seems like it took about 2 weeks before it actually felt like it was giving me the boost I needed during my workouts. Maybe one day I will get enough nerve to put a front picture on here some day.

Today I posted my first pictures. I have to admit that I was a little cautious about doing it but I know that if I really want to improve I have to be willing to see where I stand at now and set goals and all that good stuff.

Being that I’m currently deployed. I have to work at certain times and so I have to wake up at 4am and get my workout in before 0600. When I wake up I’m take 3 scoops of N.O. Explode and then go work out. I’m wondering if I should be drinking whey protein after or before I take the N.O. Explode. The bottom line is that I only have about 30 to 40 minutes from the time I wake up until I hit the gym. I drink CellMass after my workout and then go eat breakfast. I’m just wondering what should I do being that I have to wake up so early already and I don’t have a lot of time. Thank you for posting if you do.
