I made a decision to change things up a little and start doing P90X for a while (at least a month, if not longer)… My arm causes me significant pain with any high weight, so I am going to change my style for a while… I know that my max’s will fall, but I dont think that can be helped without seriously injuring myself. Maybe the low weight high reps will help me heal up some, while keeping risk of injury down…

Well, since my last post I managed to seriously mess up my left elbow and hand (2 separate incidents, hand not lifting related) so I cant do any upper-body workouts (or deads, anything involving hand/arm use). I am reduced to biking as my workout (not unpleasant but I feel bummed that I wll lose the momentum I have built up in my lifting). Hoping to get back to the weights within a month, we will see how I feel.

Well, back to the bulking-up season for me… fatten myself up for the winter… I would like to hit 175# around x-mas or sooner, and then be able to cut down to 160 or so for spring and next summer…. the most i have ever weighed was 165 and that was mostly fat when I was inactive and sick alot with pneumonia/aspergillosis/bronchitis…etc etc… C.F. is wonderful.. ANYWAY, now I feel like 160 and lean might be the best goal for me… Now we will see if I can pull it off…

Hey everyone…
I have been in Alaska for the last 2 weeks, so I havent worked out since I left… I plan on doing arms today and am hoping that I can pick up where I left off… (the only workouts I got in Alaska were 12 oz curls and hauling in fish… but the best workout I have ever had..hehe) I will let everyone know how it goes…

OK, so, sick yet AGAIN…. Lost 5 pounds over the last week, what a nasty viral infection this turned out to be. Feeling better today, and hoping the trend continues, since I have big plans this week (my birthday is Friday, yippee)…

Ok, so those of you who have been paying close attention to my page know I havent been all that well for the last six months… Finally am on some new meds that seem to be helping out so far… I am hoping that this allows me to get back on the horse here, and get back to working out… need to put 10# of muscle back on to get back to where I was at this time last year. New challenges seem to appear every year for me, gotta love living with CF….

Ok… I am back after an extended illness, I worked out today for the first time in a while, and I am very frustrated. I still look pretty good, but I lost some strength while sick. I am hoping that I can get back into it without any problems. Hopefully I wont have any more disruptions between now and summer, as I want to be 160# and ripped for the beach. Wish me luck…

Well, I am home from my exciting hospital stay, with a 2-week ban on ANY strenuous activity….so no lifting until the middle of October. Over the last month I have worked so hard, and now here’s another roadblock. Oh well, such is life I guess. Maybe I can use this time to put a little weight on….

Ok…. for some reason I am loosing weight… I have not changed my diet at all, but for some reason it keeps going down. I am not complaining about my strengh at all; that is going up, but wish that my weight would go up too… Also I avoid weight gain powders; I try to only eat whole foods (minus my protein powder) and I try to stay low-fat, but I guess I have to change something somewhere. I just don’t want to put the fat I have lost back on…….

I redid my suppliment dosing today, and it made a huge difference… I did chest today and I felt like I could have gone all afternoon, it was a great feeling. I had tons of energy and stamina, which is a tremendous help to my staying positive about working out. I hope to see massive changes by winter.
Hope everyone is training hard!
