oh sh!t! my body is gonna hate me tomorrow! i missed some lift days last week so i made up for it today and i feel great!!! but at the same time, i’m aching and i know my body will hate me tomorrow. lol i combined legs and bis today. WHOA! lol i took updated pics of my calves today because i can see/feel the progress i’m making in my legs. sweet!!
i got updated pics from the lover (xdxaxnx)! good god, i miss my man! hehehee his back looks amazing! i can see a huge difference compared to before he deployed!!! he sent me pics so i can update his page and guess what??

alright, i need to shower since i didn’t as soon as i walked in the door! good thing he stopped emailing otherwise i’d never get into the shower! haha

i feel good. i did my workouts this week and i can feel the strength coming. with each rep, i notice that i have to up the weight for the rest of the sets. my bebe would be so proud! the definition in my biceps haven’t changed much, but they’re a lot firmer than they used to be. hehehe
my quads are looking better as well. bebe and i were on web cam tuesday night i think and i was showing him that i was starting to get definition in my tris. i thought he was going to laugh at me, but he just told me he was proud of me.
now, if only i could get back on track with my cardio… lol i’m most likely gonna pick up some amp tomorrow to take for cardio (gotta discuss with the mister for best time). he had me try it when i was last with him and i liked the way it gave me energy unlike the other meds i used to take for the same affect. but yea….

for the upcoming week. dan just left for the desert today. it’s hard enough being in a long distance relationship with someone, and it’s gets even harder when they’re deployed. xdxaxnx is my hunny, and we’re both stationed at different bases. he’s still back at pope (where we met) and i’m out here in ca. *sigh yea, opposite coasts. when he’s deployed, it gets hard just because i don’t get to contact him when i want to. i have to wait when he has time to talk, which is sometimes limited. the things we do when we’re in love.
he called me this morning around 0530 my time to let me know that he was getting on the plane. i was still tired and out of it so it didn’t really hit me that he was about to cross the pond. i’m glad that i wasn’t there to see him off. i was for his last deployment last year and that was unbelievably hard. i left that same day last year to drive out here to ca and i cried that entire first night that i drove out of nc.
anyway, so i changed my main pic for you, bebe. we’d been talking about doing it for awhile, and then we saw that cball30 and dmb did shout outs for each other so we decided to wait. lol difference is we’re dating. heheh

yesterday i had my back/bi workout, my least favorite day. i enjoy lifting, don’t get me wrong, i guess it’s my least favorite because i feel so weak when i workout on these days. i wish i had guns like candace.
when i started out, i was feeling pretty good. did my first set, moved on to pull downs… i moved over to the free weights and did my dumbell dead lifts and my right wrist started hurting. i have carpal tunnel in that wrist and while i’m fortunate to not have constant pain, it sucks when it flares up. i was going to start on concentration curls but my wrist was hurting so i decided to break and to cable crunches.
after a couple sets, i went back to do my curls and by the time i finished, my right wrist was really in pain. that was the end of my bicep workout for the day. i hate that i have ct. doesn’t help that i’m on the computer all day long for my job either. ugh.
today is abs, so at least i can really work it out today and not worry about pain coming back or anything.

from doing leg press today. since i’m still starting out (on week 3) i can’t do leg press and squats in the same leg day work out. i have to alternate. since i did squats the first 2 leg workouts, i did leg press today. was a bit disappointed with myself because i couldn’t do as much weight as i used to back in hs, but i know it’s been awhile since i’ve really worked out so it’s nothing to be upset about.
i can feel my workouts getting better each time i do them. my strength is coming back and it feels good. i think chest and leg workouts are my fav, i find myself looking forward to mon and wed. i had to do legs today since i had to skip gym yesterday to pick up the lil princess.
tomorrow is back and bis, so we’ll see how that goes. unlike the mister, i don’t really look forward to doing back. i know i will later on, but since my back is still weak and i’m still having lower back problems, i don’t like doing back workouts. gotta stick tot though, can’t give up now. i’m so proud of myself for sticking to my workout this long. the past 4 years every time i’d try, i’d quit after day 2…. LOL i know, so bad!

since i missed the gym yesterday, i made sure to work it out really good today. i decided to try my dumbell bench presses on a ball today…. yea. i almost fell off in the beginning of my first set! lol thank god i didn’t, but still. my abs felt really good after my sets on the ball, going to do them that way from now on. :)
my triceps felt so weak today. couldn’t do the norm weight i’ve been doing for the past couple weeks, had to lighten up the load today on rope pulls downs. no biggie though, i know i’ll get stronger with each rep. abs felt like they were getting stronger. was able to do more crunches, leg lifts, flutter kicks, alt heel touches until MF and did 90 on my cable crunches today. felt pretty good about that. hehe
the weird staring guy was there again today. this time, he had a workout partner with him. there was a point where i was doing my cable crunches on the corner cable machine and they set up on the cable machine right next to me. his workout buddy asked me a question about whether i knew anyone was using it and i told him no… when i said that, he was just in SHOCK when i spoke. LOL i wanted to ask his workout buddy when i walked away, "does your friend ever talk?" but i didn’t. :p haha
i’ve got legs tomorrow and i’m not really looking forward to it since my hamstrings have been feeling pretty tight. gonna stretch a bit more before bed. ah well. that’s pretty much it. felt good to do weights again after being out for 3 days.

well the gym on base closed early and the tiny gym here at my complex doesn’t have everything that i need. looks like i’ll be playing catch up since mon-wed-fri are my heavy lift days and in between are strictly abs. ah well, it’ll be worth it.
today i plan to just take the little one to the pool and enjoy the sun today. don’t really need a tan or anything, but my legs are so much lighter than my arms. lol

tomorrow is monday and i’ve got chest and tris to look forward to. i only hope that the gym is open o.O if it isn’t, then i’m going to have to settle for the little gym that’s here at my apartment complex. really don’t want that to be the case tomorrow.
i took it easy this weekend, tried to eat well. i’ve managed to tame my sweet tooth for the most part. i just need to stop having money on me at work. that snack bar is gonna kill me! doesn’t help that they restocked the ice cream either. i know, i should have more will power to resist! but it’s been so hot lately…. lol i know, poor excuse.
i don’t think i’ll be kicking my butt doing cardio tomorrow morning. not a good way to start week 3, but hey, i’m off tomorrow. lol i’m at least keeping my weight session!

and still can’t get into doing cardio regularly. i’ve really gotten into my weights sessions. i look forward to them everyday after work. i feel really good after my workouts just wish i looked forward to doing cardio in the morning so it wouldn’t be so hard to do get up and get ready. lol
it’s september. my birthday is coming up and my anniversary with xdxaxnx. he’s deploying in about 9 days…. we’re already doing the LDR thing, and it gets harder when he’s in the desert… but i know we’ll do great during this deployment.
that’s all i really have for this post. gonna take it easy this long weekend.
