Success - my own worst enemy - WHY is my brain buggin’!!!
OK, so people are starting to notice the physical changes due to my increased consistency with my lifestyle change!
OK, so now, my brain is saying crappy things like… go ahead, have that cookie, you can "afford" it… what type of "doo-doo" talk is that!!! Then it proceeds to say… "you jogged home from the gym on Saturday… that means you can go ahead and have another chocolate chip cookie with your kids!!! Common’….
So, if anyone knows a GREAT assasin’ who kills the evil little b***chy voices in my head - hook a sista up, will ya!
Oh by the way - I’ve done ANOTHER thing I didn’t think I could do, I ran -outside - in my OWN neighborhood, from the gym to my house… about 1.2 miles (nothing compared to the 3.5 I did before) but it’s SUCH a huge mental barrier.. something I’ve thought of doing for about 3 years, and on Saturday, finallly I DID IT!!!

You are the assasin. You can kill ‘em dead.
Think of your successes as children. You created them. You nuture them, you are responsible for them and you can neglect them. Only you can do these things to your successes.
How hard it is to reach a goal is more than enough for me to not want to backslide. I’ve got to protect the kids, ya know.

@wayne - thanks. I think I sometimes underestimate my own authority on this matter… but years of negative self-talk and dissappointments can do that to you sometimes, I’m so glad I’m in the presence of such awesome motivating folks, who are cancelling out all that "stuff".
