Having a cold doesn’t help ….. Is working out with a slight cold bad or is it OK? I don’t have any congestion in my chest, but I don’t think I can run, with my nose almost 100% stuffed.
Anyone with some Fall/Winter workout tips????

Lunchtime workout - 30 mins HITT
Upper Resistance Workout:
Biceps (Curls) 12(@8lbs, 10@10lbs, 8@12lbs, 6@15lbs - Really good burn on my bi’s… even now as I type this I can feel them tingling good!!!
Shoulder (Shoulder Press) 10@25 , 8 @ 20 - Need to do this much better next time!
Tri’s(Skull Crushers) 10@10lbs, 8@12lbs, 6@15lbs - OMG!!!! Fire!!!
Back 12(@8lbs, 10@10lbs, 8@12lbs, 6@15lbs - I can go a bit heavier on this one, good workout though!
Chest(Lying Chest Press) 12(@8lbs, 10@10lbs, 8@12lbs, 6@15lbs - I can definitly go better. Have to watch my form
Overall I spent an hour and 10 miins on my lunchour doing the Mommy-has-to-do-this-for-her workout! I could have gone running errands for the family, but you know what - THIS IS MY time! BY ANY MEANS NECCESARY, WE ARE GETTING THIS DONE!!!!
20% BodyFat here I come!!!

I’m loving the soreness in my back and shoulders today.. it’s making a sister feel extra "swexy"… My biceps are coming in nicely too and my hubby commented on my new "sculpted look" this morning…
Yeah boy, this exercise thing is working!!! Can you dig it!

Everyone in my little circle of friends is in a tizzy about the new body shaper - http://www.ardyss.com/en/ and the whole premise of this is that you "wear" this garment for x-amount of days, and eventually your body contours to it’s proportions. You go down in sizes as the garments "pushes" your fat in. You also drink copious amounts of Acai berry, go to the bathroom like crazy and have to continue on this very expensive regimen to "maintain" your "inches lost".
It’s actually a multi-level marketing company and folks are saying - note I say "saying" that they are making an awesome profit from this.
My only concern is the sustainability of this system - and I’m just about giving up on letting folks know that there is only ONE way to do this. Make it a lifestyle change - a life overhaul. Anything external, including surgery (even though that’s on the inside of your body, it’s external to your mind/pscyche) is not going to be permanent.
I feel bad, becuase I’ve not been as consistent as I should be. A lot of people HAVE been commenting on how good I look after 2 babies, etc… etc… but I know that I can do so much better, if I really get "sold" out. I now feel the extra motivation to show folks that you CAN and MUST do this the old fashioned way… I’m so sad becuase a lot of ladies are investing $400 at a time when I know they can hardly afford it. And I just want to scream - STOP THE INSANITY!!!! Take $100 and go healthy food shopping - Another $50 for a good pair of sneakers and do the darn thing! So, now I really have to DO THIS DARN THING so they can "Ask me HOW"!

OK, so people are starting to notice the physical changes due to my increased consistency with my lifestyle change!
OK, so now, my brain is saying crappy things like… go ahead, have that cookie, you can "afford" it… what type of "doo-doo" talk is that!!! Then it proceeds to say… "you jogged home from the gym on Saturday… that means you can go ahead and have another chocolate chip cookie with your kids!!! Common’….
So, if anyone knows a GREAT assasin’ who kills the evil little b***chy voices in my head - hook a sista up, will ya!
Oh by the way - I’ve done ANOTHER thing I didn’t think I could do, I ran -outside - in my OWN neighborhood, from the gym to my house… about 1.2 miles (nothing compared to the 3.5 I did before) but it’s SUCH a huge mental barrier.. something I’ve thought of doing for about 3 years, and on Saturday, finallly I DID IT!!!

I ran/jogged/walked all the way from my office building down to the Tidal Basin!!!! That’s about 36 city blocks and about 3 miles round trip!!! I just simply cannot even comprehend that I was able to do this! I’m the obese child, the FAT FRIEND, the one who couldn’t RUN to save her life….
But I want to thank EVERYONE who has EVER given me any encouragement - knowingly or unknowingly on this site… BodySpace has really been a challenge to my self-imposed limitations!!
I’m just feeling so empowered right now. I need to go ahead and replenish my body, but I feel AMAZING!!!

Just can’t get my OLD bones out the bed… hmmm, maybe becuase I’m not associating the pleasure I feel after my workout, with getting up and getting there and getting it DONE!!!
Ok, I think the answer came to me as I was writing this.. but 4:15am is EARLY, isn’t it!!!
