The party was great, but one thing..

The last time I went to the gym was on September 14, 2007.  I worked out my Upper body, and had some help from my love, Rivi, at the gym.  I did 2 different workouts for each muscle group, where the second workout only had one set.  I worked my biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest, back, and some abs.  For abs, I did crunches till failure about three times.  My failure count was about 35ish, layed flat with my feet elevated.  I was pressed for time, (to go to work), but I managed to do 5 minutes on the bike machine. 

Saturday, September 15, 2007, was party day.  I went to work, early in the morning.  I got home at about 6 PM, re-twisted Rivi’s hair, and then rested for about an hour.  By that time, it was about 9:30 PM.  We both had to work early the next morning, so we werent planning on staying that long.  I know I said I would take pics on my last blog, but time did not permit us to stop by a store and grab a disposable.  You would think, why doesn’t she have a digital camera?  Well, I don’t.  I wore some tight, badd ass blue jeans, a light green camy with a tan mid arm length shirt over it, and some brown leather cute boots.  I complimented the boots with a brown/tan, Ann Klein purse with a leather strap.  I was mad at myself for screwing with the facial make-up.  It was a hot mess, I tell ya.  I was too lazy to take it off, and do it over.  I didnt feel like it, I know.  Anyways, I didn’t dance, cause I wasn’t comfortable with my body as much.  This is the biggest, my associates have seen me since they’ve known me.  I wasn’t mad at myself, nor disappointed because I am doing something about it now!  Well, anyways, my stomach, sometimes be the last thing to show through my clothes, and it did at the party.  That is how I know I gained madd weight. Even though, this aint the biggest I have been, it sure has been a minute.  I still caught some others eyes, but it doesn’t mean that I’m good with the weight I am carrying.  It is not healty to have 45% body fat wether or not you look like it. We left the club, where the VIP party was, at about 1 AM. 

On Monday, September 17, I worked out my Lower Body.  I did my quads, Hams, and calves.  I did cardio for 15 minutes, prior to my lower body workout.  The work out felt great.  I did 2 machines for each muscle group.  When I got home, I drank 2 scoops of my Whey Protein vanilla mix with one glass of 1% milk.

First Day of many first days

Well, Tuesday, September 11, 2007, was my first day of many first days working out.  I guess you can say that I have been real see-saw about my working out discipline.  I figured that I’d make September 11th be my new first day, so I can do it right, and get it tight.  I went to Gold’s Gym.  I preferred not to do any cardio until after Saturday, the 15th of this month because I dont want to totally sweat out my freshly re-twisted locs.  I have been invited to one of my friend’s birthday party.  I know I am going to have a blast.  I will take pictures, hopefully, on that night so i can show you all how I look in tight jeans and a sexy, tasteful fit at my current size.  By the way, I am a size 19/20 now.  I know, i know.  DAMN she big!  I am working on it, I promise.

 Anyways, I worked on my legs and abs on the 11th.  My challenge of the day was standing calf raises. For some reason, my right shoulder was so, so sore because I slept on my arm for the past three nights prior to the 11th.  Also, I gotta say, I havent been stretching.  So, you best to believe that I stretched on the 11th’s workout day!  Oh, and what a good stretch it was.  Pheeeew!  Anyways, my  shoulder still hurted using the standing calf raises because I had to use my shoulder as part of the workout.  Like most problems I deal with, I got over it.  I didnt do any inner or outer thighs workouts this time around.  Also, no ipod!  It wasnt charged.  That’s it till my next workout day on Thursday, upper body and abs day!  Yayy!
