Thursday, June 28th, 2007It’s been awhile since I last updated this blog. I do have a ongoing thread in the contest prep section for those interested in seeing my updated pics!
Last night was nothing less than amazing! It was back night and I was struggling with even getting out the door. yeah it was pretty bad. Also, although I’m normally always prepared I couldn’t make up my mind if I wanted to go back to split training or stick with one body part for the rest of my contest prep. Lucky for me I stuck with one body part, and let me tell you, my workout was GREAT! I really blasted my lats harder than I can remember in the past year or so! Yes it was that insane! I really focused on the squeeze while doing behind the head lat pull downs. I never do this exrcise do to a past injury, partially due to lack of control of the weights. I usually keep lat pull downs in the front but I am glad I pulled it to the rear! I also attached a rope to the lat pull down machine and did some intense sets with good breathing and hard squeezes in my back! I finished off with one arm rows which felt great! I like doing these with resting my arm on my leg and normally going up to 100-115lbs. I could go heavy but I get a better feel of concentration with this weight. I can’t wait to take updated pics this sunday!
Oh I also finished up with DB pull overs and 20min on the stair stepper! I did 30min of cardio in the morning so I felt only 20min of cardio was needed to end the day.
