Thursday through Saturday
So things didn’t quite work out the way I hoped the last couple of days, as far as my training went. My son was scheduled for surgery on his hand Thurs. morning. We had to wake up at 4:30am in order to have him to pre-op in time and I may have fallen asleep a little before 3:00am. Mothers worry, you know!
I stayed as true to my diet as possible but did end up ordering an egg-white english muffin (340 calories, 22P,47C,10F) at Starbucks along with a skinny latte while I was at the hospital. And even though we got home in plenty of time to go to the gym, I was completely wiped out plus I didn’t want to leave my baby while he was hurting!
I also stayed with him the next day because he was in ALOT of pain and can’t do much for himself. But I managed to stay about 95% with the diet (had a half of a turkey sandwich and bread is not "supposed" to be on the agenda for the next month!).
Last night, I crashed and slept for twelve hours (minus the times I got up to administer pain meds on schedule!) and was pretty useless today but still managed to stay on track diet-wise!
So tomorrow I know I’ll be hurting in the gym after taking the last three days off!!!
