I was just randomly looking at comments from friends and found out about your health situation. I hope that you are recovering well from your DVT. I hate it when something interferes with my workouts. I hope for the best for you and God bless.

After both of my surgeries I had to place something on the wall so I could look at it when in need. Here it goes.... Hope it helps!

Be thankful that you don't already have everything you desire.
If you did, what would there be to look forward to?
Be thankful when you don't know something,
for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Be thankful for the difficult times. During those times you grow.
Be thankful for your limitations,
because they give you opportunities for improvement.
Be thankful for each new challenge,
because it will build your strength and character.

Be thankful for your mistakes. They will teach you valuable lessons.
Be thankful when you're tired and weary,
because it means you've made a difference.

It's easy to be thankful for the good things.
A life of rich fulfillment comes to those who
are also thankful for the setbacks.
Gratitude can turn a negative into a positive.
Find a way to be thankful for your troubles,
and they can become your blessings

Oh my gosh! This exact thing happened to my good friend who is a triathlete. She was on the Nuva Ring and noone made the connection. She was put back on it even after questioning it with her PCP and the same thing happened again. She now uses an IUD. My friend who is a pharmacist said this happens a lot with hormonal BCPs and people don't realize they have a problem until they get diagnosed with DVT (for the smaller amount of people who are predisposed to the condition). The diagnosis is made when something like this happens. I'm not sure if that helps you or not but she and another friend of ours both got off the hormonal BCPs and haven't had an issue but they are still on coumadin.

Very scary! Thankfully it was caught early. remember to put your health first, that is why we do this, right. you'll be back in no time, and there are always shows to compete in. Just focus all of you energy on healing. all the best wishes,
