“Wow! You look GOOD! So different!”
It always amazes me how people from the gym react to me when they see me in "real" clothes! Hair fixed and loose, makeup on, cute outfit, ect. When I go to the gym, I …yep, you guessed it….SWEAT! I work out hard and my hair is wet, greasy, and pulled back, the little makeup I do wear in the gym is sweat smeared, I have gym chalk all over me, I probably STINK(!!), my gym clothes are faded and worn out from umpteen million washings, not to mention the wierd exertion faces I make when I lift! So, no, I don’t look the greatest when I work out. But when others see me out in town, they compliment me so profusely, I wonder…"just how bad do I look working out?" Oh well, just my thought for the day!

Yay! I’m excited for you to start on your contest prep! Looking at your pics, you are on the right track! Your 36 weeks out plan sounds good to me. I’m flattered with your comment to me. Thanks hon! BTW, your profile doesn’t allow for PMing?

That’s funny! Same thing happened to me and the guy said in the line up at the grocery store "you look different with clothes on". Everyone looked and everything went silent and we both just looked at each other and laughed. They still had no idea what we were talking about.

I came across your bodyspace and I have to applaud you and your hard work. My fiance and I met at the gym, and luckily he still thought I was attractive, sweat and all! Keep up the good work!

HA! Love it! I feel the same way. Good think my boyfriend already loves me as he sees me like that an awful lot. Good luck with maintaining while on bedrest, I read your DVT post and am sending postive vibes your way that this resolves MUCH faster than the doctors expect.

Great post! I can’t believe how different people can look at in the gym verses when you see them on the town! Last week I saw a gym friend at the store and I really kept thinking—"where do I know her from?". Thanks for sharing.
