Have you ever counted how many times per week you are asked, "how do i get arms like that?" or "what do i have to do to look like you?"  Honestly it really gets annoying.  15 years of busting yourself in half gets you this.  Commitment gets you this.  Sitting on your rear infront of the TV watching reruns of the simpsons and the family guy doesn’t get you this.  Do people seriously expect you to take the hour or longer to tell them what you do, how you do it and then answer more of thier questions?

Gossip, like previously stated, if you don’t know the facts don’t talk smack.  Don’t ask people you don’t know if this steroid is good or how to use it, its called reading give it a try.  Definately don’t ask somebody you don’t know if you can buy from them, WTF is that anyway.  I could seriously put canola oil into a bottle and sell it as my "home brew" to some of these morons.  If i was on anything is sure as hell wouldn’t risk selling you any. 

Anyway enough with my rant, yes I am angry.  Been using chains on about every movement I possibly can, my power has increased a lot.  I’m very pleased but i’m running into the problem where i may need to get another lenght of chain.  Looking for Navy/Coast Guard ship grade chain is a real pain, finding it has been a challange.

How could I train with the volume i achieved and walk out the gym door feeling like i did nothing????  Snatches, clean-n-press, over head presses with chains and several isolation movements.  Nothing, not even a cramp or slightest pump.

Today i got a nice email from the site’s admin asking me where my ever so popular "bodyblog" hasn’t been updated.  Somedays i don’t have anything to say, get over it admin, :)

Okay, sometimes you need to re-invent your routines and attitudes you bring into the front door of your gym or into the room/space you work out in.  Doing the same thing repeated gets stale, your body gets stale when your mind gets stale so you are in constant need of change.  Your duration of change will vary but it was time that i changed a few things.  I’m still starting off my workouts with some power lifting.  I started using chains which gives me a constant increase in resistance throughout the entire range of motion.  I have also begun to superset more.  "and thats all i got to say about that"

I went to bed extra early only to have the dog wake me up around 12:30am, for no reason either he just decided he wanted to go outside and sit there.  So I ate in light of not being thrilled about being awake.  So I forced myself out of bed at 5:30 to put he last coat of poly-seal on my boat trailer, the same boat trailer with less than 1000 miles on it and started to rust, amazing.

Monday was shoulders, started things off typically with some snatches then cleans-n-press follwed up with chains on overhead presses and the dumbell work.  I often wonder if people realize how important strong traps and rear delts are in keeping your shoulders together, by that i mean not ripping rotator cuffs and other crippling damage.  Funny how most can bench and squat but thier traps and rear delts suck.

Tis the season for doush bags to flood the gym, not put thier shit back and spend all thier time doing more BS than actual training.  This isn’t like planting a garden and watching it bloom in a matter of weeks, i’ve been torturing myself for over 15 years now; find a genie if you think it will happen over night.

Off to the kitchen for b-fast then on the beltway for work, which reminds me I need diesel for the truck so I need to go get raped over the fuel station first.

Affliction?  Why is everybody afflicted lately?  I’m really entertained by the UFC fans walking around in thier skulls, fire and tribal grafic shirts; none of them have run more than 10 feet since they have been a kid let alone lift anything heavier than a bag of crap they bought at wal-mart.

I watched Rambo about 6 times this weekend; loved every minute of it.

 So this past week i made up some lifting chains due to the fact my pansie commerical golds gym doesn’t support the diabolic head cases like myself.  *I miss you Iron Works and South Side Barbell*  I’m going to try and find heavier linkage, i like it.

Chains………………

Today was bench/chest day, all chain pyramid work.  I got the same stupid question several times, "what are the chains for/what do those do?"  This prompted me to answer with the most smarta__ answer i could possibly think of: "to scare the hell out of you", "so you would ask me stupid questions" and the one that didn’t go over very well "so you know i’m the superior animal in this gym."  I miss my old gyms back in New Castle PA, no such commerial gyms were within 50 miles of that hell hole.  You couldn’t find a 5′8" 150lbs kid that thought he was huge, they lifted at the YMCA or stayed home with thier sand filled weider weights from walmart. I didn’t have to carry in chains from my truck into the gym, the gym already had it.  Hippy commerical attractions are a joke.

Did back today and i would kill for a massage right now.  Lower traps feel tighter than over torqued bolts; going to sleep will be fun tonight.

So, I had this ingrown hair on my chest; i get a lot of these.  Normally its a hard little lump and starts off as a pimple, well this prick finally came out from under the skin after a month of rubbing the bump with a piece of 80 grit sand paper.  I have also found that sand paper works great for the huge calus tissues that developes on my palms.

I haven’t done much with my profile lately, mainly because i’m bored with it.  Still grinding that axe at the gym.  Time for bed!
