WEDNESDAY, FEB. 9, '11: CHEST, BACK, ABS (4X + X-CENTRIC)We're getting anxious to be in top condition again, so we're integrating more negative-accentuated (NA, or X-centric) sets for more fat-to-muscle success. (Reminder: You can still get http://www.x-workouts.com/x-traordinaryworkouts/?CFID=25429783&CFTOKEN=49085573#anchor_xcen NA training manual, http://www.x-rep.com/xshop.htm#anchor_ufmw, http://www.x-workouts.com and http://www.x-workouts.com/x-traordinaryworkouts/?CFID=25429783&CFTOKEN=49085573#anchor_xxwkt each for only $19.99. For more info, click on the title you're interested in.)...

(Go to our http://www.x-rep.com/xblog.htm for the full training and diet details.)

Note: Our current program is based on the direct/indirect in http://www.x-workouts.com plus the NA technique from http://www.x-workouts.com/x-traordinaryworkouts/?CFID=25429783&CFTOKEN=49085573#anchor_xcen.

Summary: For chest we made the fourth set of our 4X sequence for Smith inclines a negative-accentuated set--less weight and a one-second-up/six-second-down tempo. Felt great--upper pecs were screaming. We also switched the Bench press from a 3X sequence to a 2X + NA. Much better feel. Jonathan's abs started cramping on Incline kneeups on set 3, so we deleted the fourth NA set and moved it to http://www.home-gym.com/homeabbench.html crunches. Nice change; abs were toast.
