It seems almost sadistic to say this, but I love starting the week with a grueling leg workout. First benefit is that energy levels are high. The second huge benefit is that NO ONE else in the gym is training legs on a Monday, so that area of the gym is all yours...

Summary: Only change today was that I reduced the volume on Standing calf raises by one set. I'm hoping that will reduce the damage just enough that soreness is gone by the time legs and calves rolls around again on Thursday. My gastrocs were still sore today from last Thursday, so I'm hoping this change makes recovery happen a bit sooner, although with only a one-set reduction, I'm not sure. We'll see when Thursday morning comes along.
