Last workout before peak day, which is Friday, and it was a great workout–vascularity is streaking and every muscle group looks full, most with striations…

Summary: Sure is nice to see the muscles filling out with a gain in veinage. It’s difficult to get into the light-training pump mind-set, but it’s mandatory for peak weak to top off glycogen stores in all the muscle structures. We’re off tomorrow, so that should be the capper for a perfect landing on Friday.

Peak week is here, so our workouts are lighter, pump style–although with two low-carb weekend days in a row, pumping was more difficult, even with some pre-exhaustion-style supersets…

One week till peak day, so it was another intense straight-set-only workout–except for the negative-accentuated sets with a rest/pause followed by a standard-cadence set; that slow-negative set followed by a regular set should give us microtrauma and density to boost our mass and muscularity…
