Well had a pretty awesome workout today..
Went to a different gym & I use trap bar for deadlifts most of the time. This trap bar was slightly smaller than the usual one I use and when I was going for 155×6 reps first 2 were easy but grip was **** on the bar so I had to give up, instead decided to go for 1 rep max (I had no prob grip for 1 rep!). Ended up making 180kg which was awesome. Started off 6×65, 5×105, 4×125, 2×155, 1×175, 1×180.. Never tried 1 rep max before but it sure beats my old 6reps of 120! Not gonna do it again as the 1 rep’s are too risky but im pretty confident I can go 6×160 if i’m lucky next workout!
Hoping to increase squats now, got a useless 2×130 last time, gotta get 6 next workout, I know I can do it but I think i’ll need some heavy metal MP3s to assist.
Dumbell press I want 6×60 unassisted
I know what I wanna do now.. Just gotta DO IT!
