Oh the Irony
So I talked to the recruiter today. And wouldn’t ya know it……..the DAY I bought the Clauddagh ring is the day they changed the requirements for non-previous military enlistments. So that door is closed shut forever. More like slammed shut.
And now I’m thinking how pathetic it is to wear a ring I bought for myself, knowing the meaning behind it. Well, at least it wasn’t expensive.

That’s the way I’m trying to look at it right now. A lot of doors have been closing lately, so I’m obviously going in the wrong direction. Need to change that like NOW. Thanks for the encouragement!

Bummer Deb. I assume it’s an age thing, that without prior service they aren’t as flexible. I hope you can think through what your goals are with this door shut, and begin moving in that direction.

Your right we are alike I to don’t care for weekends and I know what you mean by doors shutting you out but guess that why we have to keep fighting for what we want. So on to door number 2. Good luck and keep your chin up.

aint that something about the military!! i just got an email about the age requirements, and bonuses all being done away with!! It happens….i wouldnt about it too much!!
Look at the bright side though….youre still hot!!
