Workout after a week on vacation
Tuesday, December 16th, 2008Ok, so my workout buddy was right……taking a week off from lifting once in a while can help with my progress :) Spent last week on vacation out of state and didn’t get a single work out in. :( At first I was disappointed that the hotel stated they had a ‘fitness’ room, only to find out it was Cardio Bunny heaven with only a few free weights and one bench! (That’s a ‘fitness’ room??? LOL) Also, I had a fractured, bruised foot from dropping a barbell plate on it the Thursday before, so I took the week off, almost unwillingly :(
I was jonsing to get back into the gym Monday night! And even thought I was still alittle jet-lagged, my workout was good. Upped the weight on almost all my arm exercises, and did the same again tonight with my back exercise. WooHoo! This girl is ready to start lifting heavier and hitting the gym hard!
